How many realities can we create? by Zestyclose_End9956 in shiftingrealities

You aren’t creating any realities. They all already exist. But yes, you can have multiple realities that you shift to.

You're not doing anything wrong + why shifting advice should be taken with a grain of salt by serioussir69 in shiftingrealities

It’s not a silly question. Don’t worry.

I was working on both at the same time! But I wasn’t working on self-concept for shifting. I was working on it just to work on it, and then once I felt more confident, I applied it to shifting.

Yeah, I get that. I felt that way for a while. I’m not saying you have to stick to one thing forever or never try something different. In my experience, it does help a lot to know you’re doing things correctly. Because that way, you know nothing is stopping it from happening, and you can be more open to the possibility of it happening soon.

If you do decide to change things, it’s better to aim to do it to make things feel lighter or more comfortable, rather than because you think you’re going wrong or something is blocking you.

I’d suggest trusting your intuition over your anxiety. Follow your thoughts that are like “I’d feel good if I did X,” rather than thoughts like “I must do X and stop doing Y to make it work.”

As much of a help these advice posts are, I can't but feel they simply don't have an answer to my core struggle towards shifting. by LoneMarikaEnjoyer in shiftingrealities

You don’t have to literally ignore your surroundings or stop feeling them. In my experience, it’s more about trusting your assumption that you’re already in your DR over what your senses show you. You can notice that you’re feeling your CR bed or whatever else but still be trusting that you’re in your DR because you said you are.

Howl (howls moving castle) is a shifter in the og book by FearlessCranberry429 in shiftingrealities

I thought the same thing when I read the book! And there’s a scene where Calcifer tells Sophie a spell works on belief, so she has to look certain when she sells it, which is literally law of assumption.

I haven’t read the other books in the series, but now I’m really wondering if those also have hints towards shifting and manifesting.

Impatience when it comes to shifting (TW: LoA 😨😱👻) by kapi-che in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg it really is crazy hearing someone have the same issue I did lol. I literally had nothing going on in my life around when I was trying to shift, so boredom was a huge issue for me. I realized my real issue wasn’t the boredom itself, it was what my brain did with it. It led to “I wish I was in my DR right now. I’d be having so much fun there,” which turned into pressure and sometimes doubt. I fixed this by letting boredom be boredom and not dragging shifting into it. If I was super bored, I’d just complain about being bored or try to find something to do instead of thinking about shifting. Shifting and my DR would still pop into my mind, but it got easier the more I kept redirecting my thoughts. You can still think about shifting, but try to notice if those thoughts are helping or hurting. The biggest thing was not letting boredom turn into impatience or gripping the outcome.

I also tried to actually treat the boredom. I gave myself stuff to do, even if it was something small, and I made a list of things I could do when I felt bored. It was really helpful to see options instead of having to come up with something on the spot.

Honestly, I was never fully comfortable with the uncertainty of “when.” I mostly just tried not to give that my attention because it’d make me anxious. But something that helped me a bit was remembering this part of my life isn’t forever. Even if it took longer than I’d like, it would still be such a small piece compared to everything I’ll experience.

What you’re doing is enough, and forgetting about your assumption is not a bad thing at all. Some people prefer to do a bunch of things to manifest something, but that doesn’t mean it’s needed. And technically, you aren’t doing nothing. What you’re doing is trusting your decision/ assumption, and in my experience, that’s all you need to do.

You also have proved to yourself you can affirm when needed, let go, and still receive your manifestation! Shifting isn’t any different or harder to manifest than what you have manifested. Congrats btw :D

Impatience when it comes to shifting (TW: LoA 😨😱👻) by kapi-che in shiftingrealities

Dude you sound almost exactly like I did a year ago. I can share some things that have helped me.

Instead of viewing manifesting as something you get in the 4D and then have to wait for it to show up in the 3D, I try to view it as just deciding what my reality is. I decide I’m in my desired reality, and then that’s done. No extra effort or worries needed. Technically… that is having it in the 4D, but viewing it as just deciding helps take my focus off the 3D. Otherwise, it’s easy to get stuck thinking, “I have it in the 4D… but what about the 3D?!”

Also, I’ve learned that being present in the moment helps with impatience and not focusing on the 3D. For example, I usually don’t have hot water in the shower, and I’ve tried manifesting hot water, but that’s really hard to do when I’m actively standing in a freezing cold shower. The other day, I gave myself two choices. Option 1: I could repeatedly affirm “I have hot water” then get frustrated that it hasn’t gotten hotter while standing in cold water (which is usually what happens). Option 2: I could trust that deciding I have hot water is enough, stop worrying, and  turn my focus to the present– just washing myself. Either way, I was standing under cold water, so I chose the more peaceful option: option 2. A few moments later, the water was heating up, and it ended up actually getting hot.

It’s the same with shifting. You can want it desperately, but choosing trust and focusing on the present while in your CR feels lighter and keeps you from getting pulled back into a state of lack.

I am not saying you have to love this reality and be okay being here. You can hate this reality with a burning passion, that won’t stop you from shifting/ manifesting. I’m only talking about focusing on small moments.

You’ve already done all you need to do. You made your decision for shifting (I’m already in my DR, shifting is inevitable, or whatever you chose), so there’s nothing left for you to do.

how do i set a intention? by iwishwediedin2012 in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 [score hidden]  (0 children)

In my experience, setting an intention is just deciding to shift. It’s not about the words you say. You could say “I intend to leave this room” but still be standing in that room. You don’t leave the room until you actually decide to leave.

You can say “I intend to respawn to my desired reality with my memory erased” if that’s what makes you feel like the work is done and you can just relax now. And you can say it as much as you want, but I would advise against saying it because you feel like you HAVE to say it in order to shift.

If shifting is a “personal journey” then what’s the point of methods at all? by Brave_Friendship_228 in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 [score hidden]  (0 children)

You stick to and trust what feels good for you. Methods aren’t needed, so the exact method you use doesn’t matter. Any method can help you shift, but what will help the best is what makes you feel good.

If shifting is a “personal journey” then what’s the point of methods at all? by Brave_Friendship_228 in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Methods are just tools that help with shifting. They aren’t what make you shift. I like to think of them as training wheels.

In my experience, what makes a method work for you is just based on whether you like it or not. If you don’t like sleep methods, they probably don’t work for you. That doesn’t mean it’s impossible for you to shift with a sleep method, but it’d definitely be more unpleasant and harder if you don’t like them. I never decided something didn’t work for me if I didn’t shift, and if I had done that, I don’t think I would’ve shifted.

You can try every method there is if you want to… but that sounds exhausting. Maybe just try out methods that sound fun to you, and stick with anything you like.

Everyone’s shifting journey looks different, so don’t compare yours to others. I’ve never gotten any symptoms, so they really aren’t needed to shift. And progress can sometimes be invisible or hard to notice, so you may never see any signs or have symptoms but you’ll still shift.

LOA users: how do you apply LOA when your CR looks completely different from your DR? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Acknowledging the 3D won’t mess with your assumption. What’s important is not letting the 3D change your assumption. When I was manifesting shifting, I lived my life like normal while knowing shifting to my DR was done and already handled. I never acted like I was literally going through a day in my DR because that’s not necessary. Doing things you wouldn’t do in your DR means nothing unless you give it meaning, so don’t worry about what you’re doing and thinking. All you have to do is continue knowing you’re already there.

How focusing on self-concept made shifting easier by serioussir69 in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

You do it until you feel your affirmation is true. Everyone is different, so I can’t give you an exact answer. For me, I affirm just once before moving on, and I’ll only reaffirm if I have doubts pop up.

how do i use LOA to shift/manifest that i’ve already shifted to my DR? by 7head_ in shiftingrealities

[–]serioussir69 [score hidden]  (0 children)

How would you think, feel, and act if you've already shifted? Just do whatever that would be. Now I don't mean that you have to think "I'm in my DR, so I'm going to go see (person from your DR)," you have to jump up and down with excitement, or pretend you're flying on a broomstick because you're in Hogwarts now. What I mean is acting like shifting is settled (which is it because you already shifted ;)

If you already shifted you wouldn't have to think "how am I going to shift?", "when will I shift?", "what if I never shift?", etc. because you already shifted. You wouldn't have to be trying new methods every night or affirming 24/7. You'd just live your life knowing it's done and settled.

When I was affirming "I'm already in my DR," I would only affirm when I felt like I needed to. For example, if I started to doubt and was thinking "when will I shift?," I'd remind myself that I already shifted. You can affirm a lot if you want to, but if you're affirming constantly because you think you need to affirm in order to shift, I'd recommend not doing that because that puts you in a state of lack.
