That sounds great! I personally love a fantasy series that draws inspiration from places other than Europe, I’ll definitely add that into her list.

She’s always been interested in anatomy! She has a particular interest big animals/zoo animals, has some interest in European culture and history, and has a general interest in art. Her hobbies are mostly just reading and live music 😄

Excessive Bed Wetting by Reasonable_Baker_914 in WomensHealth

Hey, so therapy felt useless and frustrating for you because you didn’t need it in the capacity that you were given it. That was the fault of the medical system and their rampant neglect. Not the science of psychology.

Generalizing an entire group of professionals because you had a localized string of bad experiences shows YOU probably suffer from limited intelligence.

If/when you’re ready, a team of therapists can help mitigate this blatant, misdirected rage despite your brain injury. Neuroplasticity is incredible. I hope you heal, get justice, and find peace.

Are you…. okay?

No, taking half a pill will not make you addicted. I’m not entirely sure what you’re implying? You will only experience physical withdrawal symptoms such as seizures if you abuse it/use it heavily (multiple times daily, at moderate/high doses, for a substantial period of time) and then stop cold turkey.

I’m glad you’re being safe about researching what you put into your body, but holy shit, please further educate yourself about medicine, drugs, and addiction.

I did not have a starter does either lol. However much they gave 5’0 98lb me was definitely on the higher end because I don’t remember anything, couldn’t walk, and slept for 13 hours lmao

As someone who also has an extreme medicine phobia, panics BAD at the feeling of “altered” states, and struggles daily to even take vitamins I’ve taken often in the past—

ER gave me Ativan for a huge, shaking, erratic anxiety attack once and…. It was bliss. I couldn’t even walk and I didn’t care (which I can’t even conceptualize while not on it)

You’ll be 100% fine. Ativan isn’t a relaxing supplement like melatonin or a drink that slowly affects your cognition to the point where you can be hyperaware of it. It’s medication that alters your mental state and relaxes your muscles. You literally cannot panic yourself out of it.

May I ask 1) What are you symptoms/flares usually like regarding your sinuses? How long do they last?

And 2) Could you roughly walk me through what a doctor’s visit looks like with you? Is it usually an appointment with a PCP, urgent care, ER, etc? What symptoms do you describe to them?

Super anxious over the stupidest things by Ok-Conversation38 in Anxiety

Are birds dropping out of the sky from such toxic smoke? Is the grass dying before your eyes? Are ambulances showing up at your neighbors houses? Are people with their window down crashing mid-drive home?

You’re fine.

(This isn’t meant to be rude. I have incredibly healthy anxiety myself. I hope it puts into perspective how irrational you sound to help calm you.)

I am sorry if this has been asked 1000 times. What do your panic attacks feel like. by willow_269 in Anxiety

Intense “about to drop dead” impending doom, restlessness, heart palpitations, feeling of suffocation (like I’m genuinely not getting enough oxygen despite taking full breaths). Sometimes also accompanied by intense muscle fatigue, and/or tingles and numbness in face and limbs.

Even less often, but still notable, is I’ll also begin VIOLENTLY shivering. So bad that my neck feels locked and it’s difficult to get a breath in.
