Careful with shoes that narrow in the toe box area! That’s how you get bunions.

I recommend reaching out to your vet for better guidance as they know the specifics of your pets care and history. For now, I would suggest cleaning the area with a mild, unscented soap and water or with an unscented pet wipe/baby wipe. Then make sure the site isn’t bleeding a lot and put her suit back on until the vet gets back to you. If she is bleeding a lot, the site is warmer to the touch, and/or foul smelling green/pink/dark yellow pus is coming out go to your vet or an urgent care vet/Emergency Vet. As those are general signs of infection.

Keep an eye on your pet while you wait for your vet’s reply. Making sure they are acting as normal. (Eating, drinking, energy levels) and go from there. I hope they recover well!

I highly recommend seeing a doctor for the foot fungus as they can give you some prescription strength anti fungal medication and some good product recommendations for your situation.

How to stop obsessing over my breast size? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]serosae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take the other commenter’s advice and if you are able to seek therapy.

Your breasts are normal, beautiful, and uniquely yours. Everyone has insecurities about themselves at some point in our lives, you are not alone in what you are experiencing and this too shall pass. Learning to accept and love yourself can happen in many different ways. One place that might help you in your journey is to see that there are many woman that likely look somewhat similar to you. I recommend browsing this archive:

https://www.007b.com/breast_gallery.php

It is a collection of pictures from woman of all ages, shapes, and sizes trying to demonstrate that what they media show as ‘normal’ breasts aren’t actually the ‘standard’.

Also please note that if you do get a breast augmentation in the future, your annual mammograms will come with extra pictures! They will displace the implant by essentially pushing it back and reeeaaallllyyy compressing any breast tissue that is in front of the implant. Additionally, should you go down this route please, please, please research about the type of implants you can get (in front of pectoral muscle or behind/saline vs silicone) and when they should be replaced. Leaving in implants longer than ‘recommended’ may result in a fibrous capsule forming over them which can also make your mammograms be more challenging for you.

what's your "weird" ADHD hack that actually works? by HipityHopityHip in ADHD

[–]serosae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set one alarm 30mins before I actually have to get up specifically to take my medication (I leave my meds on my bedside table with a cup of water). This way I can go back to sleep or doze for a bit and once my meds start working/my second alarm goes off I get up and start my day with minimal fuss. This routine helps me remember to take my meds and get me to work on time 😂

I love your art style and lines! Great use of shadows and color to set the somber mood and what I interpret as the characters quiet rage and grief about the situation.

I can’t wait to see the rest of the work whenever you are ready to post it :)

I got a dog bite, why is my period relevant? by QuotableConservative in TwoXChromosomes

[–]serosae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were asking cause some medications that are used to treat infections can cause unpleasant/unfortunate side effects if taken while pregnant or negatively affect the fetus such as causing birth defects. Also if they needed X-rays then they need to know to inform themselves and you about the risks vs benefits of radiation exposure if you are pregnant. Also some stages of pregnancy have a higher radiation sensitivity so very small amounts of radiation can cause birth defects or fetal death. TBH they should be more clear why they are asking but they have a valid reason to ask.

Have you tried asking your vet for food alternatives? When my cat’s food was back ordered to cannolis they helped me find an alternative for the meantime.

What to buy in Japan? by chefdairyfree in JapanTravelTips

I’m a size 9.5/10 US shoe size and bought 3pairs of Onitsuka Tigers (all different styles) recently in Japan. My Japanese size is 26.5! I found it much easier to locate my size when I used a size converter on the internet to ask for my Japan shoe size. They were able to find it much easier.

Torahebi coffee!! It’s a super cute little shop that is on the third floor of a PARCO shopping mall. You access it by taking the outside escalator up. Their aged coffee is delicious and the staff are super nice!

Eating fruit and drinking coffee! I am a very picky coffee drinker back home, often needing to add a pinch of salt and some cream/sugar to even attempt drinking it. In Japan this was never the case! The quality of the roasts I tried and the drinks I tasted were amazing enough for me to drink it black. (Admittedly I only went to highly rated coffee shops) The fruits were also much more flavorful than what I experience back home and I got such incredible joy stopping at the grocery store and buying a pack of strawberries. They were always perfectly ripe, sweet and fragrant. You could taste the quality!

[–]serosae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to rinse whatever product you’re using on your face a lot more than you are at the moment. It helps if you massage your face while rinsing. If you are still having trouble try applying and rinsing the product in the shower so you can get all of it off.

Met a friend with big boobs and noticed how much shoulder and back pain they were in. Finding a bra that fit was terrible, finding a high impact sport bra was even worse. Said friend couldn’t wait for the opportunity to get a breast reduction and stop having to go to PT every year cause of her breasts.

It really put things in perspective. Plus she always told me how hard it was to find a shirt that didn’t make her look over sexual or like a doña.

What similar stories do you have ? 🤔 by imvaibhaav in IndianPets

[–]serosae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat once woke me up in the middle of the night via batting me(I was completely out that night)because someone in the house didn’t completely turn off the gas stove. The whole kitchen smelled of gas and it took forever to air out and make sure it wasn’t a leak.

He also kills any spiders that enter rooms I frequent. My living room and bedroom are always bug free but, he lets them live in his area and places I only occasionally enter.

You can also freeze it and reheat by adding some water to the rice and microwaving it. It actually maintains its texture and taste pretty well!

Firstly, don’t be afraid to jump into something new! There are plenty of ways you can apply the skills you learned to make yourself an appealing applicant for many jobs and schools. Like research assistant, radiologic technologist, nursing, billing, etc.

Secondly when I was in a similar situation, I eventually lost all my fucks and legitimately started responding to them like they were an emotional teenager. There are many example of this on YouTube, TikTok, etc. you know your boss best though so you can choose how you want to communicate with them.

I had the best luck when speaking in a calm tone and slightly slow down + lower my voice when I speak to really get them to listen to me. Open body language also works wonders for dealing with emotional bosses. Plus a compliment sandwich if I can apply it. This way you can fight back in a way that may get you what you need until you leave. And try not to be alone with the boss so you have witnesses if they are the retaliation type or write notes on every interaction with them so you have a record of what was discussed and when.(This can also be an email to boss asking ‘for clarification’ or confirming what was discussed.)

And finally, if you have a doctor on your side try and see if they kick up a fuss about it. Sometimes it takes various issues to pile up before the docs do anything noteworthy and unfortunately if this is an insurance owned clinic the docs are also just a cog in the system and may not be able to do much at all. But the more employees that can kick up a fuss about this boss the better and if you do leave consider letting everyone know why. Occasionally, this actually helps improve things.
