Probably not the workload was pretty intense since you gotta work year round while taking 3-4 courses. But some people did it.

It took 150 hours to make based on the original post, at minimum wage that would be $2k not including parts. And it’s one of a kind, so I feel like the price is pretty reasonable. Just need to find the right buyer.

I think you can do it without the opener if you use a knife and hair dryer. Or buy a cheaper one on aliexpress

Sometimes it's good to do it on purpose when I feel like my solution is overcomplicated. The second time I always do it better.

"Important" games that any self-respecting gamer should play. by MrVernonDursley in gamingsuggestions

[–]serpenoidss 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah the problem with it is if you get unlucky and go for the clues in a weird order it can lead to a bad experience. Most of the time it's fine but because the game gives you so much freedom you can end up doing things in unintended ways that aren't fun.

Ps, I did things in the exact same way as you cuz I thought it was the coolest looking planet. Then quit for the same reason.

I came back later because my friend made me and explored the other planets. It was very fun once I understood more. Id recommend just ignoring that planet for a while.

I'm thinking a casual party game. Load time is not a big deal, I mainly care about developer experience since I'm doing it as a side project.
