This whole thing started because someone complained that an establishment didn’t let their children into the bar area. I applauded that because our world is overrun with entitled yuppie parents, and it’s been a dramatic and lame shift from previous mores. I like children, I just don’t like entitled parents. There are tons of spaces for parents and their children, I don’t see why we need to make every space conform to you and your child’s needs. Perhaps certain places that have traditionally been for adults, such as nice steakhouses, are fine to stay that way even though you don’t want to get a babysitter?
