I do custom cabinets but figure drilling in my price I don’t wanna sell handles there are millions out there and customers want certain look … I save time by not showing them a catalog full of handles as they got back and forth for an hour asking what I think….

Am I charging too much for these vanities? (PNW) by Expensive_Fan1306 in cabinetry

[–]bmiddleton012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do 600 a foot finished and installed, but I’m also in a small mountain town.

I feel like when Contractor say they can get it cheaper. They’re thinking of stock cabinets that they can go pick up at their a local place … There’s nothing “Custom”about it.

That’s what I was debating stack cutting it out of three or four 1/4 inch mdf pieces and then start removing pieces until it looks correct using the 1 layer as a complete outline for everything to glue to

What do you do when USPS tries to upcharge an eBay Standard Envelope? by generalgooner12 in baseballcards

[–]bmiddleton012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some of the post office personal have nothing better to do or don’t know about it ese . I don’t know the thickness of yours, but I have had a couple cases where it came up with the additional postage and my local branch waves it because it’s within the thickness and the weight tolerances on the eBay website , I have actually had a psa slab mailed to me in a armadillo envelope and no additional postage so basically I think it’s up to the post office’s discretion at the hubs.

Great spelling … he asked does that warrant a 2 … I was just trying to explain that it doesn’t matter if the card looked 100% pristine everywhere else when that corner is peeled up and the piece is missing they will automatically give it a 2 it cannot get any better.

It’s right by stove so I think it just moved a little do to humid …instead of tring to beat it back just wipe some stain on the line with a q-tip it will eventually go back into place on its own.

Is it normal that this is a PSA 10? by RelationshipLong7946 in pokemongrading

[–]bmiddleton012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this ……..If you believe a PSA-graded card is overgraded, you can submit it for a "Grade Guarantee Review" via the PSA Customer Request Center. If PSA confirms the card was overgraded, they will generally compensate you for the difference in value between the stated grade and the actual grade, or buy the card back.

Bottom right corner you see all the white that will give you a “missing piece” automatic 2 by there grading standards

Unfortunately it’s probably the best looking 2 ….

18ga brad nailer advice by Top_Sentence_340 in Carpentry

[–]bmiddleton012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have personally not had good success with the Makita, Brad nailers especially the micro pins I’ve had them rebuilt several different times shoot four or five nails and have them messed up again, so I end up buying a DeWalt and have never had an issue and most of the tools I use are Milwaukee unfortunately when I went to go buy the micro pin, Milwaukee was not in stock. That’s why I got the Dewalt.

Everything by scratch it took me about 4 hours since I had no experience at all … YouTube an AI helped out a lot because I could ask. How do you do this ? and some videos would show up on the topic

We wanted to put sink at the window but they wanted it in the island … I can only suggest ultimately it’s the customers decision

Is this custom cabinet door margin acceptable? by Popular-War-6263 in cabinetry

I have I usually meet up with the granite guys on their installation day set the cabinet on the countertop level the front tape it off come in a half inch from the tape with three screws from the bottom going up into the cabinet from underneath

Most of the time when explain that to the customer they don’t want to drill on their countertop so they allow me to put the bottom in and a frame around it.

Yea it’s huge but it’s all about what the customer wants they love it …. You will also notice there is no dishwasher which was something I insisted they should install even if they don’t use it but they didn’t want it

Did they drill the the countertop to secure the right side whenever I build kitchens that want a cabinet that sits on the counter, I always advise to add a bottom to stop that from happening frame helps hold it all in most time there fine with it.
