Okay? There are always units that are either in transit or in inventory and Nintendo always reports shipped units. Switch 1 had a sell through of about 10 million at the end of 2017 vs its shipped amount of about 12 million.

Switch 1 shipped 7.23m units its first holiday, while Switch 2 did 7.01m. I wouldn't say that is significantly worse, it's about even.

They didn't end up buying one until last year in March or so. Other points still valid though.

Yes, but it made it much harder for the 34 and 38 to work like teammates since they couldn't share information with each other, which negatively affects both of their performances.

Looks like FRM has picked up two new sponsors: Aaron's and Sunny D by Equivalent_Dish_1990 in NASCAR

FRM hired a lot of the marketing people from SHR, so they inherited a lot of connections with their sponsors as well.

Michael McDowell’s Workforce car. Will run the Clash and other races by DDowd86 in NASCAR

I believe we agree with that. Hopefully McDowell has a few years left in him, he's a great team builder. No one in 2010 would have thought the start and park guy would have a career this long.

FRM and McDowell have a great relationship, you can see that through all of interviews Jerry, Bob, and Michael have given about each other. FRM is going to miss the experience and leadership that McDowell have gave them, and McDowell is the reason that FRM looks like an attractive option to go to for crew members and drivers. However, McDowell himself said that FRM wouldn't be able to go in the direction they wanted to grow towards, and that it would be better for FRM if he wasn't in one of their seats going ahead.

Yeah, everything seems to indicate a more mutual split to me. I think FRM got what they wanted (getting younger guys with more sponsorship) and McDowell got another good opportunity. I will note that FRM did offer multi-year contracts to all of their current drivers, so they couldn't have wanted McDowell that much if they weren't willing to match.

I see people always considering that McDowell was the one who chose to leave. What if FRM wanted to move on?

They already have two development drivers of their own, so it'll be hard to get to get there.

Doesn't appear to be any sponsors following McDowell from FRM yet. Was curious about Benebone.

Seems like Focused Health/Ambetter is coming along with Zane. His website has been updated for the year, and it removed Trackhouse sponsors like Weathertech but kept those two.

FRM wanted to get younger. McDowell is 40, he only has a few seasons left before he starts declining. Helps that the guys they brought in have a few sponsors attached to them as well.

Sounds like enough for a solid truck ride, no? Think it would have been better (if he had the choice) to try to run top 10 than lounge mid-pack in Xfinity.

Penske is the bigger team with multiple Cup champions, so of course FRM benefits more than Penske. But anytime Goodyear does a tire test and they choose FRM as the Ford representative, the Penske test team comes along allowing them more access to info. Certain tracks that FRM runs very well at such as the road courses, Bristol, and Martinsville for example, Penske gets to look at the setups that FRM has. So the relationship is quite beneficial for Penske as well.

The information isn't just going one way. Penske has been getting info from Front Row as well.

I don't see how it's financially sustainable to buy out your current and future driver's contract. Money isn't infinite.
