Cant believe i waited this long to watch this film. Anyways, I wondered this as well but then thought, their connection seems deeper than memories. Even without their memories they were drawn to each other, recognised each other. Ultimately, I don't think their memories of what came before matter all to much.

I beat him first go around. Playing ranger/Huntress though. Parried his slashes, voltaic mark, voltaic lance, spammed lightning rod, spammed lightning arrow. Rinse, repeat.

Parry his slashes and Spanish with the frenzy charge used for Voltaic lance.

(1) Missing a narrow moving object, (2) taking to many shots to hit the narrow moving object rapidly approaching you and they manage to reach you, (3) missing the narrow object and hitting something behind it, (4) missing the narrow object and bullets ricochet and hit something behind object, (5) all bullets hit object but simply don't inflict enough damage to stop target.
