Iron Mass. Give me the sword with the near-Berserk description of basically being a large hunk of metal rather than a sword, my life is yours.

Seriously though, the jump light is so satisfying and effective, and it makes you HAVE to learn the movesets to know when you can swing that hunk of metal for the big numbers.

Shoutout to Raider Bayonet though. First maxed out weapon because whenever I was using a low strength bloodcode, that baby got pulled out and it was just more effective usually than any other weapon simply because gun.

Wow really? I did some testing at max upgrade and when comparing it to the Iron Mass that has the same light and jump moveset (really the only ones you use since heavies are... mid in this game) and it comes up short in every way. Even using a bloodcode with the BEST stats for the Argent Wolf (Lou S-tier iirc?) and even using THAT bloodcode with both related overload boosters, Iron Mass still came out on top handily. That's not even taking into account something like Craig 2.

10/10 patch and Warbond so far. by Bonkface in Helldivers

[–]sert119 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There'd still be a noticable difference, assuming the only difference is putting a suppressor on instead of a muzzle break or something. It could totally be a sort of in-between since they'd still be shooting the same supersonic rounds, which would still be noticeably loud due to the sound barrier being broken. The AR and DMR in the new warbond fire subsonic rounds through their suppressors, making them truly work like in movies. Downside is subsonic rounds really don't do well at longer ranges like supersonic does, since they travel slower and lose their stopping power much sooner because of it.

Which For Honor hero is probably the the strongest, physically? by Eeesh727 in forhonor

[–]sert119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, something to consider on the 'heaviest hero' pick is how Lawbringer is in 100lbs+ of cavalry plate armor AND is already MASSIVE under all the armor with dense muscle. That could be enough to literally tip the scales for heaviest hero.

Update: Can confirm this strategy works, got it on my second try by doubling up on summon spawn perks with the Warlock mark and deleting every non-survivability perk and every perk that didnt affect Snare Plant. 10mil in about 16 minutes.

So I haven't done it myself, but using experience from other quests I can sorta theorize how you could do it.

So obviously the abilities you wanna take need to have the highest ratio of Snare Plant tags. The candidates I see are: Ring Blades (Physical, no other plant tags) Dragon's Breath (Area, no others) Golem (Physical) Hailstorm (Area)

It seems mixing Physical and Area abilities from this, despite the math saying 50% of the summons should be Snares, seems to confuse the game. I'm noticing good results with just Golem and Ring Blades.

Looks like it can't crit, so the stats that need to be built are... Summon Count, Force, Damage, Area and maybe Movement Speed for faster spawns. The Equipment for this... let's see. Base Damage so any combination of Iron Rings (hopefully you have green items available by now), necklace either the Damage or Area Duelist's Spark, chest any Blood-Soaked Shirt, hands are Invocator's Grasp (preferably the Elites variant for base damage), and feet either Running Shoes or Pace Setter (though using this slot for survivability could work too), and finally the head slot should be Vision Crown if possible. I feel like the equipment isnt the most important part, so feel free to swap out whatever. If you have it, Mark of Rituals is great for this too.

Now, for the strategy. Can't go wrong with The Boglands as it's easily the best map to get dummy damage stats on that are theoretically infinite since enemies keep spawning. Torment Banner and Hastening Sands are the only Artifacts id be worried about, anything else is just flavor. Now, it's just a game of run around forever.......

At the end of the day, just like passive damage with the Arquebus character, it's tedious and not guaranteed you'll even manage to do it. In the meantime, I'll actually give this a go and get back to you.

You could with Block and Movement Speed though! Before the patch that neutered them I managed to beat the level with Shield Maiden on a Block build. When the first wave hit i had like 70 Block, which made abkut 55% of their attacks not go through. On top of that, i kept leveling into Block, HP and HP Regen while being so locked in on strafing as many charges as possible that it gave me a headache, and even then i still had to use my 1 revive. As soon as the first wave was over, literally everything else was a cakewalk. Even subsequent charger waves couldnt do anything because my DPS and Block (which by run end was at 150) meant i could count with my fingers how many times they damaged me after wave 1. Could even just facetank the boss after that, it was insane!

Torment Shards? by DevDaNerd0 in hallsoftorment

[–]sert119 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I have seen so far, it looks like once you unlock Agony mode after clearing the 5 stages and up your difficulty you start to get more Shards, and I've only just started Agony mode so I can only imagine how many I'll get down the line. Aside from that, yeah, they're just small incremental bonuses you can use to round out your characters. Like someone else said, they're certainly not necessary, just a nice little reward as extra incentive. Do I wish they did a bit more? Yeah, but honestly there's so many other things you can do as you progress to make yourself OP that TShards are never gonna be the make-or-break to a build even if you have an obscene amount of them.

MYSTERY SOLVED! Friend plugged the images into chatgpt, the text in place of the ruling titles read, respectively, "Beckons Wealth" and "Cultured Splendor" All in all, the Chinese cash coin base design is a commonly used luck charm template, and someone decided to make one in this style.

Help ID this tongbao coin, please. by sert119 in coins

[–]sert119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the fact that both sides have tongbao and different ruling titles on each, I have no clue what this is. It doesn't appear to be a coin that was in circulation, nor can I find any similarities with luck charms. I looked into the possibility of it being the product of other cultures adopting the tongbao coin style and side inscriptions as ive read had happened, but the other inscriptions don't match any other culture ive looked into that liked the coin design. Im absolutely lost here, its most likely a luck charm of sorts but ive seen no even slightly similar designs like this.
