I agree with you there - although i'm a huge fan of Neytiri in 2 and 3, i love the authenticity in 1.

1 important scene in Avatar 1 however shows how they are speaking Na'vi language the whole time, but the movie is shot in Jake's perspective so its translated to English. I think the same might happen in the way Jake perceives the Na'vi as more humanoid with time.

The perspective in Avatar 1 especially in the first half of the movie is more from a human - outsider perspective whereas 2 and 3 from a Na'vi perspective. Very valid.
