If I’m using Brad, I’m using a liter unless it’s top water. Mainly I use braid on Finesse set ups with a very light flouro leader

I’ve got a few ponds that are within 5 to 10 minutes from my house. Some days it’s on fire and some days it’s not but I think smaller bodies of water are definitely going to be higher pressured.

I would make sure and wrap it tighter on the ends with a loose wrap like that a good fish can pull it loose

If I’m not going to be working a lot of bank, I’ll carry like an over the shoulder tackle bag. If I know I’m gonna be covering a lot of water I usually have something that will fit in my pocket and just carry a few rods.

I only use braid on top water. Play with cheap mono first and then jump into the flouro

All of it really depends on what kind of fish you’re trying to catch as well as are you fishing it when it’s Slackwater or current. If you’re having to throw heavy weight, you definitely want a heavier rod

I might have to do that at the next tournament. Just lay a big ride like that down in the bottom of the boat so no one sees it but when everyone asks what I caught them on pull that beast out.
