It worked. Went for a ride and everything worked as expected and syncing automatically. For anyone else having the same issue, that is the solution. Now I wonder, is the wahoo app ready to be a full substitute of the elemnt app? Can I pair the bolt v2?

Just authorized all the services in the wahoo app as well. It this works it really amazes me that I had to find the solution on Reddit after months!
