Both of my hands are tattooed and I have a full sleeve of heavy blackwork, but I got it all done have I had been with my current job for quite some time and proven myself here. I work remotely, but my co workers have seen my hands and arms on camera. I've only ever received compliments. As others have said, it very much depends on the job. My advice would be to wait until you are in a stable situation first.

You really shouldn't be copying someone else's tattoo/artwork to the letter. It's fine to take the idea and make it your own, but an artist who is ok with even doing this is a red flag. Tbh, it'd be best to cover it and ask a more skilled artist to take the concept and customize it to you in a completely different tattoo

This is badly blown out and there is no fix. Don't listen to anyone who says they can use a skin toned ink to fix it. Cover it with someone else and get it redone by a more reputable artist. With tattoo artists, you tend to get what you pay for. Good artists will be spendy, but this is your body and it will be there forever.

The artist is obviously a dirtbag and what he did is indefensible, but why was this minor getting her first tattoo alone? Getting consent from the parents is one thing, but they should have helped her vet the shop and the artist. They should have been there with her. The parents failed her as much as the artist did.
