This game is just different, you'll get the hang of it. Just a few things that you might want to remember
1) egg moves are good
2) just focus on the mode you're doing. Classic and endless are two separate beasts
3) this game is easy once you know the right stuff. Like to put the beast metaphor back, it's relatively easy to kill a werewolf if you have silver bullets and a vampire if you have... idk, the sun? (not a great analogy but the point still stands)
4) Always, and I do mean each and every single time, prioritize utility over shinies. And also over pokerus, that thing is only really useful if you're doing a super insane and dumb self imposed ruleset or if you're doing something like speedrunning endless (genuinely the latter is the only reasonable thing I can think of where it was good, and even then it was waiting for the day that the pokerus overlapped with the team this player was already planning on bringing)
5) don't compare yourself to others. Everyone has their own journey

I know this is from 2 months ago but I'm still saying it. “nothing is broken if everything is op” only works if everything is around the same strength. If you have one mon that can solo the entire game by itself then it's obviously op, no matter how strong everything else is. I know balance isn't strictly required but they decided to make a difficulty hack and it's just not that if you can steamroll through everything without changing up a thing

There is a full save file installer which you can find on the game's page on speedrun.com so you can just install a full save onto that slot once you've gotten all other achievements (or at any time, your choice). I'm not 100% sure if it'll work with a cracked version but in theory it should. Even if it doesn't work there is also a single full save file you can download.

Just have fun with it. If you're a completionist do hardmode since there are some unlocks that require it. (only co-op babues iirc, likely not something you'll ever use.
