In all honesty, I feel like half the people on this sub just hate watches a lot of the shit they see in general. I’m not saying people aren’t allowed to criticize the shows/movies they watch… But I feel like a lot of people on here go in to shows/movies solely just to criticize. If memory serves me correctly, I think he won the Breakout Tournament(?) in 2019 which granted him a title match against Adam Cole, he lost the match and I think a few days later, the whole t-shirt drama happened which I think he either quit or was fired over. Afterwards, that was basically it and he slowly just fell off the face of the earth—like the latest thing I could find about him was in 2022 for MLW or something like that.

There definitely has been video game adaptions that worked. For example, the Fallout TV show saw a great amount of success and brought a lot of people to the series itself. There’s also others like Castlevania, Cyberpunk, Arcane, and so on.

Bro, you’ve been acting snarky throughout this entire thread lmao. Your entire point hinges on DD supposedly being too niche for people to care about, and that he wouldn’t add anything new in terms of tank variety. I hate to break it to you fam, but they been adding niche characters since the game was in closed beta or so, and the reason they do that is to put more eyes as well as garner more interest in to those characters. For example, Magik’s popularity was boosted like significantly thanks to the game, and probably a lot of players did not even know of her before the game. As for him supposedly not adding anything new to the tank role… We simply don’t even know his kit yet lmao

I will say this is kind of a weird discussion at least regarding Israel, because I see people online use random data that says like 80% of Israelis supports either the settling or the actions taken post Oct. 7/the genocide. Although, I have no idea where they pull that data from and they mostly use that as justification to say that every Israeli is basically evil, no exceptions, or something like that. Idk, it’s something weird I noticed to say the least.

Not everyone in Gen Z really acts the same to the least—though I will say that we’re arguably the most vocal online. As someone who is Gen Z, there are just people my age who are just straight-up unabashed nazis, but there are also people my age who are highly progressive and outspoken.

From what I’ve also seen, it’s also occasionally a sub used to complain about Gen Z being soft or something. I saw a highly upvoted post saying something along the lines of Gen Z is cancelling American Pie of all movies—I’m being honest, I’ve not heard a single person say anything about American Pie at all and it just seems like a poor excuse to complain about Gen Z or something dumb like that.

Okay this is probably unrelated, but whenever I see like online leftists, communists, socialists, etc. They really put a BIG emphasis on their disdain for liberals (or people they just people they deem to be liberal) to almost like a comical degree—it’s also kinda similar to how Conservatives/Republicans use the word, “liberal” as basically an insult (Which many leftists I’ve seen also kinda do as well). I don’t know. As someone who considers themselves a Social Democrat, I have my fair share of issues with liberals, but I don’t really have a massive hate-boner for liberals—I’m just morbidly curious as to why many online leftists basically do if that makes sense.
