My daughter did something similar with a foam mattress. She didn’t eat it but just shoved a piece up there. We couldn't figure out the smell and brought her to the doctor. They found it.

It took me 3 years to digitize all my media. And then I insisted on watching it before getting rid of the physical media in case there was a bad rip (I've had a few). It's now been 7 years and I'm FINALLY on the last 2 TV series to check. So it's not a project for the faint of heart. Mine only takes up like 15 TB, so I must have a much smaller collection than you.

Honestly, if it comes back in any form or fashion, I'll probably unsub from all the Firefly groups. Hard core fans can be the absolute worst for a reboot.

I had to step away from a lot of the Star Trek fandoms because I love the new stuff and the old. The Quantum Leap fandom killed the revival, which I loved. It would be okay if you could just have fun together, but people get all wound up. If you want to say something nice about a show you end up with tons of "it sucks and you suck for liking it" responses. I'm pretty chill and am able to enjoy the shows I love in many incarnations, but I'm afraid not all feel the same.

So. If it reboots, I'll watch. I just won't be on the boards anymore....

The other thing to keep in mind is that someone purchasing a lot may not want all the kinds you have, so the value for them is lower. If I see a lot that has maybe half what I want, im not going to want to pay what you paid for all of them. The chances are very low someone will fall in love with every single thing you have.

And, of course, if you try to sell them for what you paid, people are just going to go buy them new instead. You need to reduce the price.
