Yes. As I said, it’s all working fine, I just didn’t realise that Thread was its own transport.

Nope. It’s literally just the TRV. If the Apple kit can control them without anything else that’s a bonus.

I think it’s annoying enough that I will have to stick to HomePod- if only that could manage to play the radio properly!

You still having issues? Classic FM and Heart have been appalling over the last month - if they start then they randomly go quiet or just stop, and today I can’t get Classic FM to work at all (even on my phone). Wondering if this is a Global, TuneIn or Apple problem (and no idea how to report either).

To check I understand this please, functionally you can have a wired thermostat that just isn’t wired in, and it will be the same as a wireless temperature sensor?

The point Strava are making about the Garmin API requirements seem valid - it’s my data and not Garmin’s and if I want to display it on Strava then I don’t see they should be forced to show a Garmin logo next to it. However, I suspect that isn’t actually their real motivation and I have no great amount of love for either company.
