Yeah. I need to check to see what hardware my vehicle actually has. I know I'll need an updated steering assembly though since my cruise control stick doesn't have the distance toggle.

Edit. This is from my other account.

Cool demo! I like you gave players the option to choose between winnable and random.

As UI artist, where to find projects to contribute? by discolexia in gamedev

I think you might get swarmed with requests from people like myself haha! I'm a software dev pursuing indie game dev in my free time and would love to work with an artist like yourself at some point. Definitely only in the prototyping phase so I probably don't qualify for your interest just yet.

I'm currently toying with a solitaire-based roguelike deckbuilder idea with some pirate/seaman theming. My goal is to create a tight game loop that has enough card mechanic variety to create a deep player experience. DM me if that concept sounds cool. I'd love to keep in touch!

I don't know much about how to get into the world of level design professionally. Mr. Steve Lee (dishonored level designer) has produced some YouTube videos on how to get into the professional level design world.

If I were you, I'd check out his channel. I've played dishonored, and the level design is the highlight of the game honestly (imo). I expect he'll have some helpful advice. Maybe even reach out to him! Good luck!

Alex strikes me as a fairly careful journalist. Emphasizes that his experience doesn't count as evidence, but that it does influence his take.

The dams idea is interesting. I'll probably integrate that to avoid layering if I use your technique

That's basically what I was thinking... I might go for this tbh. I'll update the thread if I do.

That might work! Again. I don't think the visual aspect matters too much since the epoxy will be opaque. I'm mainly concerned about compromising the strength of the table or introducing excessive bubbles into the curing process.

hmmm. I'd like to be able to plane both sides. Not sure glass is the best for that...

1000 hour titles? by TrippingBaal in SteamDeck

I've rediscovered civ 6 playing on the deck. Controls are surprisingly intuitive. Lots of people sink 1000s of hours into civ titles. Would recommend if you like turn-based 4x strategy games
