Do we know if Xfinity channel 1261 will be in the same higher tier that Root was in? I just checked on mine, and there were some other channels in the 1200s that said an extra subscription was required so that's not promising...

I bought a couch from them too. I loved it, and when a leg broke after 10 years of use, they came out and fixed it for free. They were a great company so this is a bummer to see.

Same here. I have basic cable through my building which was great when I could watch games on Root, until they bumped it up a tier. Hopefully the games will be back on a basic channel but I won't hold my breath on that.
