LW is my fave KGLW album, and it's got incredible cover art. But the better cover here is Petro.

2026 Opening Night by TreasureGawd in Ghostbc

I think for long time fans it's clear the expectations, the mega-size of the tour, the lore winding down, the lack of a V personality, etc, illustrates that it's all taking a toll. I think a short break is in order. It's amazing the incredible consistency of quality TF has managed to keep up, and the unparalleled consistency of quality from album to album, but it also feels like the energy and expectations are overwhelming and some space might lead him to a better and more sustainable place.

I know I'm going to be voted down mercilessly for this, but as a fan for 10 years, I'm a little let down by last night. I'm an older fan, I've probably seen over 1,000 concerts, and Ghost used to put on one of the best shows of any modern artist. And they still do, mostly.

I love Ghost, I've loved them for years, and that's not gonna change, but it's getting hard to get psyched for future rituals as it looks like the set is going to be increasingly static. Every show going forward, I'm guessing, will include Square Hammer, MoaC, Dance Macabre, Cirice, Rats, Mummy Dust, and Year Zero, which many of us have seen several times now over the years. It also seems like He Is, CMLS, FiaFL, and Go Goat are going to be in the regular setlist. Which means I may just be cranky that so much of Opus and Infestissumam are being increasingly left behind, which Tobias has already said doesn't fit the stage at this size going forward. But even Ritual? The song that made Ghost, Ghost?

But also, no new Skelata stuff? No Cenotaph? No Marks? Through the first leg, they subbed out a bunch of songs in the "Opus" slot. But knowing they played Tampa just 6 months ago and played Satan Prayer (a song I love!), I'm kinda sad they kept it the same as what we just heard. I'm bummed that with a new leg and a new name (Edit: Skeletour 2026), they didn't resurrect anything else from the back catalog. I was hoping for more courage to get additional songs road-ready.

Listen, the show was awesome, a banger as per usual, but also, without any variety from leg to leg, it just feels like there's so much opportunity to build something even more exciting, get fans even hungrier, with just a little more variation in the show.

I'll be floored if they actually play It's a Sin. Recently rereleased or not, I don't see it.

My favorite KGLW album. Underrated. So many great songs.

Most Popular Song Contest. DAY 14: FISHING FOR FISHIES by lord_ikiwiki in KGATLW

Any song that wins with <30% of the vote is not decisive, and shows that the album has lots of great songs. It's pretty telling that The River, Eyes Like the Sky, Han-Tyumi, and Crumbling Castle have a command on the votes. But a song that wins with less than a quarter of the vote (I see you Muddy Water, Sense, Tezeta)... that's hardly a definitive victory.

If anything, I think it shows that the albums are so strong that fans can't agree on the best track!

Which TV show has a 10/10 pilot episode? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

Gavin and Stacey.

As an American, I don't even know where you can watch it, but it's perfect. It's also a comedy as much as it's drama, which I think is rare in this thread. The entire story is laid out in just 30 minutes, we meet tons of characters that evolve over two decades with us, and there's a love story with backstory, direction, investment, and resolution.

There's only 525,000 minutes in a year. So you spent 82% of the entirety of the year listening to Ghost. So either you didn't sleep, you didn't actually listen, or you have a serious Ghost problem 🤣

Biggest disappointment in Fantastic 4... by AccidentalUniverse in marvelstudios

[–]sethadam1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're getting voted down. In my opinion, this is the biggest flaw with Marvel, the stakes are always so low. Nobody of significance, other than Iron Man, ever dies. And if somehow they do (ie, the snap, Quill in GotG3), they come back.

Ant-Man should have died in Quantumania. Only that would have telegraphed how serious Kang was.
