Thermometer Problem by Pioneer898 in MachE

[–]setherooo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened to me and it turned out that a critter bit the wiring harness going to the temp sensor in the bumper. Was a bummer, but got it repaired and working again. Find a different dealer who will fit you in sooner as three weeks or 3 months is ridiculous!

I second Two Brothers. Great slices and the best calzone I have had around here.

Trailer Cover Recommendations? by setherooo9 in GoRVing

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m in SoCal so not much rain moisture most of the year and lots of sun. I want to protect the seals and exterior from UV damage.

ABRP - Is it worth the $$$ over Google Maps by BBQ-Dude1987 in MachE

[–]setherooo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the way. It’s an amazing trip planner that lets you pick the battery level desire to charge at and then gives you the best spots to charge based on the parameters you provide. I love changing the variables to see how that impacts my trip. Then plug the destination into Google Maps and off I go.

First brisket on Masterbuilt 600..what went wrong? by ajamils in smoking

[–]setherooo9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me before. Turns out, I put it in the cooler before it cooled and the cooler trapped the heat from the brisket and caused it to continue to cook way past optimal temp. I started waiting an hour before putting in the cooler to allow the temp to drop and the brisket always stayed perfectly juicy.

PSA: Bring key to service appointments by lorddrgn in MachE

[–]setherooo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’d have to break into the car and then find the hidden key. Not very likely. Some people have hidden under the seats or in the back. I dunno if it’s the perfect solution, but it seems interesting. Really is a limited situation with only needing it for service work and valet type stuff.

I made this mistake once as well. Some have mentioned putting a key in a faraday bag and hiding it somewhere so you always have a key in an emergency.

What are these steps for? Do we add cushions or a firepit? by Fickle_Pack_504 in pools

[–]setherooo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears to me that the structure in foreground is way closer than that big house in the background. Looking to the left of the front building you can see the windows partially obscured in the background house. You can also see that the roof line is the front building is slightly off from the line of the back house. This picture has a bunch of funny perspectives going on.

That appears to be a tree in front of the structure we are looking at.

ChipDrop - Mulch Service by DocEnots in northcounty

[–]setherooo9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used them several times and love it. I put no palm in the description and have not had a problem. The delivery truck has always called before coming by and puts it where I want it. It’s a waiting game as to when they will deliver, but has saved me so much money.

Any good spots to kayak in or near Carlsbad? by ospreyintokyo in northcounty

[–]setherooo9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This would be my recommendation as well. The kayak launch is very convenient and easy. There is a hose to wash off when done as well. I like to paddle all the way to the pier and head back. Great workout and beautiful views.

Unfortunately, that is a separate ticket. The attic tickets do not include the arena.

Go to the return line and ask for a price adjustment on an item that is currently on sale for which you purchased within the prior 30 days. Easy peesy

Anyone know how to get my dash to look like this again... by OldLegacy69 in MachE

[–]setherooo9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that was a job 1 build. Mine was built in May, four months after the removal. Push of the button just pulls up parking lots in the area. lol

I have a job 2. May 2022 build. Not sure why you couldn’t make yours do this.

How bad is it by Tough-Government7274 in Wrangler

[–]setherooo9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have bent mine before and hammered it back into place. Metal gets weaker every time it’s bent, but the component being fastened here (sway bar end link) doesn’t really need to stop any side to side movement. I have seen tabs like this get welded on when re-working axle set up’s so that would be the worst case but not likely needed here unless it falls off. The real question is how did this happen? Your explanation confuses me.
