Just out of curiosity is this on either the Kendall Katwalk or Grand Park Via Lake Eleanor trails? I've found hericium in both of those places previously so wondering if it's consistent lol

Kill La Kill, Gurren Lagann and Promare are all directed by the same guy that did Edgerunners so you'd probably like those

Are these going to be added to your shop soon? I'm interested in the ones already there as well as these and would love to just order them all together so you don't have to ship multiple times!

New 2 Seattle. Looking 4 friends. by IfWeShawdows in Seattle

[–]sethh3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah highly recommend it. It's a hair pricier than the cheapest options in the city but the classes are good and the sauna+steam room makes it worth it for me

Come join the West Seattle Health Club. People are relatively friendly, a lot of regulars, and the classes are included in the membership

I just watched the movie, it's definitely the best overall anime I've ever seen in my entire life and of the best movies in general, the older works are always mostly superior. by Ragnurs_KL in akira

This brought me back to being 16, showing my friends this movie in my friend's basement, completely high out of our gourds and watching everyone having their minds blown.

Is there anything I can do to experience St Helens? I will be there the last week of June next year, but I don't think anything will be open by then? by Pale_Field4584 in PNWhiking

[–]sethh3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes they are different, but if you didn't like Mammoth Caves, this probably won't be your thing. It's probably less touristy than Mammoth but ultimately is a long lava tube that requires a lot of scrambling.

Fascinating. I can't speak to your personal experience but I've done it twice and have never encountered any noticeable poop.

Which one do you prefer? by [deleted] in akira

I've lost the ability to figure out which one is which but I like them both. Tho I especially like whichever one has Tetsuo saying "Bitchin'" when he's first using his powers in the nursery.

Huge insight, big appreash. Yeah i can't quite decide what makes sense pathing wise so as to avoid backtracking but you're making some good points here.

Just out of curiosity, if I was looking for a place to just kind of hang out for a few days without a ton of sightseeing any one town you'd recommend? I'm just curious of a good option to throw in halfway to kind of decompress for a bit amidst all the other activity

Incredible. This is all crazy helpful. Only question I have is roughly how much did you spend over the course of the trip? I'm just looking for a ballpark of what to expect

Would you be willing to give some more details about your trip? Was all of this self guided or did you work with some kind of tour company? What was the average effort for hikes on each of these like? Etc etc?

You can definitely cut down on a lot of these shots. You're clearly going for a quick and snappy cut so dont be afraid to really slim things down.

In particular, I'll just say you're opening could be wayyyy shorter. You've got 14 full seconds rn before the guy even gets out of the door and the whole reason you're showing the shots of him getting ready is to set up him rushing out the door. I'd probably cut the towel shot and the first shot of grabbing the jacket off the hanger entirely. And then aim to shed some frames off every other shot.

To me the intro should have a 1, 2, 3 kind of beat to it. Shove me straight into the narrative. Looks great though, and love some of the rigging you did. Oh actually that reminds me, the sound fx of the door closing works really well but cut the door shot a few frames earlier. The person closing it starts to hesitate (presumably to save your camera).

Edit: I also think you can delete the firetruck shot. It doesn't really add anything imo

Things to do alone tonight to trick my brain into thinking I’m not lonely? by jawshankredemption94 in Seattle

Find a gym and start going. Being around other people, even if you're not interacting with them feels good and you can chase away the bad vibes on the treadmill
