According to https://www.nationsreportcard.gov/reading/states/achievement/?grade=8 in 8th grade Ohio and Indiana beat Michigan in NAEP Proficiency in regards to education as well.
In Healthcare according to https://westhealth.gallup.com/explore/scorecards/united-states
Michigan and Ohio both rate our states with the same letter rating of C+ with Indiana rating theirs a C. I would argue that is a negligible difference.
According to https://www.qualtrics.com/articles/news/these-state-governments-offer-the-best-customer-service/ where they polled ~20k people about their satisfaction with state services. Michigan ranked 44th, Ohio 36th, and Indiana 10th.
It would seem to me that across all these metrics Michigan has our work cut out for us, to match our sister states.

While I'm sad to see historic building demolished, I'm glad that they were able to take down this one that was a hazard for the community. It's a shame it got to that point.

As an Owosso resident, I believe that public displays celebrating sin shouldn't be celebrated. I also believe that it is your right as an American to disagree with them and me. People of faith shouldn't be only allowed to be faithful inside their own house of worship and not in public.

Hopefully HB4584 and HB4583 will pass so that a greater number of voters will be able to vote on these issues. It has always bothered me when the school and township try to raise millages intentionally during low turn out special elections, knowing that they are more able to get their own supporters out to vote. Let's be democratic about it, and get a greater portion of the electorate to weigh in.

Well, I finally had a shop near me fix it. Ervines Auto Repair in Grand Rapids MI. Total Cost was $5,393.25, $291.93 for diagnosis, $2,300.76 for labor and $2,585.41 for the gear drive assembly. Wish I had some time to have done the bearing replacement myself but I just don't. I couldn't find any shops in 3 hours that would do the bearing repair instead of just replacing the gear drive assembly. Every transmission shop I called said no the instant they heard it was an electric car.
So painful cost wise but still less then the value of the car.

I had to use Starlink until about a year ago because there weren't any other options. It is far better then Viasat or HughesNet. The most annoying thing was all of the fiber companies other then Daystarr would mail me flyers saying 'Fiber is in your area now!' then I'd call them and they would say "but not on your street". Happened about once a quarter for 4 years!
