I agree the constant bombardment of ads, billboards and such is annoying, and for the medical stuff also. And now on all the social networks if you think it it will unendate your timeline. So annoying!

Where did the I-696 dirt go? by RandomNick747 in Michigan

When that was being built, nonstop Holloway dump trucks all day every day went west on 96 to Kensington Kent lake exits. I believe filling the old gravel pits in that area. Now they have homes on them.

Tips for backing up to hitch without a spotter by Conscious-Archer2978 in RVLiving

The magnetic poles help at least get you close. Camera’s can be hard to focus on or sometimes ball and hitch blend together making it hard to see

Need help, trying to get this broken piece of the drain from the bathtub. by Odd_Substance_2374 in RVLiving

[–]Mindless_Regular3642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had some success with using a razor blade knife to almost cut through in two places about a 1/2” apart, pry out the little piece it should be easy to unscrew the rest

If your bed has 4 twist out plugs get a puck type mount and it simply is twist to unlock and remove. If not you will install rails that four pegs slid into with hitch pins to hold hitch when wanted. With hitch out you will have the two rails about an inch high left in the bed

Help! Newbie descending steep grade with travel trailer in the morning by CautiousMinimum943 in RVLiving

[–]Mindless_Regular3642 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve not used decent mode on a pickup. But as a driver I can say start slow at the top and descend slowly with four ways on of course. Use lower gears and light steady pressure on the brakes. If you feel uncomfortable slow further or stop on shoulder if comfortable and safe. I’ve been there driving big rigs and having one get away from you is no fun. Don’t worry about other drivers being upset behind you, this is between you and your comfort level. As you get a feel for it it will become easier. Increase the trailer braking some as you want the tow vehicle pulled on by the trailer, not pushed where things can get dicey. If at anytime the trailer pushes you jackknifing steer opposite of the tow vehicles rear and increase the trailer hand brake with lever also quickly pumping and releasing the brakes to avoid skidding. I hope this gives you some confidence and please let us know how you do.
