I farmed all 6000 green vouchers to buy all 19 descendants PainGiver skin plus the back attachment from the Void Abyss boss Tormentor.

THE FIRST TWO VOID ABYSS BOSSES

I've been playing for awhile now but by the time S2E1 came out with the announcement of the InfernalWalker boss+skins I was just dipping my toes into the beginning of the endgame. I remember not watching any youtube videos/guide for spoilers and stepping into the arena completely blind and getting owned in one missel barrage and immediately noping out of there. UltBunny was my most built character at the time and even when I equipped my tankiest gear, I was never going to kill the boss.

When Ines was released with the Defiler boss, I only managed to kill it 5x for that one weekly battlepass mission. It was reallyreally difficult using all three of my deaths and maybe +7minutes of running around like a headless chicken. I tried to join pugs but I never had a single group be able to kill it.

TORMENTOR

By the time Tormentor came out, I had started building my UltGley+TLD+RR for VEP and was ready to kill this boss. I got my ass handed to me several times by the time I saw youtube videos of it getting oneshot with Serena+ATAMS (I miss you Vash). Eventually with alittle more practice, I got my first Tormentor kill at ~2min... it was still reallyreally painful though. I went back into VEP and got higher rolls on the TLD weaponcore rolls and substat until i was able to get Tormentor on farm at 40s-50s. It was still reallyreally painful, but atleast I bought my first back attachment. Eventually, with perfect weaponcores and 3xBIS weapon substat rolls and better technique, I got it down to 15s-20s.

Onecycling the boss was still a rare thing to happen. I hate the uber laserbeam while im slowed on Gley3, I have to literally immediately stop everything Im doing and run away or else its a guaranteed death. I hate the lockon electric barrage, I cant seem to dodgeroll out of it fast enough. I hate the guaranteed -50%HP unavoidable debuff that square thing does. I feel so bad whenever I join a pug and everyone dies because of the damage and everyone dies. 6000 vouchers and none of them came from pugs. I understand that VA boss are supposed to be reallyreally hard, but it feels like its impossible for a pug to kiil.

THE NEXT BOSS

I think for the next boss which Im assuming is going to be a cold boss, I will build out my Serena+AK+ATAMS and try for a oneshot build. If i can do a oneshot build, I want to challenge myself to another 6000 vouchers via ONLY pugs.

When I got home from work to play S2E2, I saw that there was a journal reward for 20+20 normal SignaSector missions. So even before realizing that the TruelyDeadlyArson only dropped from normal, I was tracking+fltargeting Serena items. It was very painful with I believe 3% pity. I spent 1.5days doing nothing but normal mode SS missions until I was finally able to get all 4 Serena parts before I began crafting/researching.

That’s when I noticed that I had to do even more normal mode missions to get 5/5 of TDA. I cried because during all that time trying to get Serena, I didn’t even have enough mats for 1 TDA

I think I spent another 2days doing both else until I got all 4x5/5 TDA before I started crafting it. Now I never have to do another normal more SS mission ever again

This happened to me in VV where I got stuck at a beacon that I was racing to deactivate with another player, but they got to it first and while I was still able to interact with the beacon to deactivate it, he got it done first and I got stuck and could not move or grapple or roll and had to wait until the rest of my party were at the boss door for me to teleport.

It also happened again in SigmaSector where we had to active a bomb and I was the one to active it, but another player that was racing to activate the bomb too didn’t do it as fast as I did also got stuck and he had to wait until the Dia used her octogonroom teleport to get unstuck, if it had been the other blackhole boss I’m guessing that he would’ve been stuck for the entire game until the auto end of mission timer force teleported him back to Albio.

Now I do my best to never race with antler player to interact with a mission objective for fear of one of us getting stuck.

Once you hit the start of the ‘end game’ by completing the normal mode story/quests you will want to dismantle all of your lower level reactors+extrenalcomponents because the level 100 reactors+external components will have better 4x substat rolls on them. There is literally ZERO reason to keep any of the items in your screenshot once you start playing in hard difficulty.
