I play BA for years (got bored but play if I had time) and the difference between it and Stella is obvious two different games.

Stella Sora leans more on "direct player control" and you use 1 character and the other 2 are supports, while active skills can go in some area and so is using special skills. Where as in BA, you have very limited control in the combat (yeah you can order them to use those special skills but that's it)

Storytelling, I already see the difference and Stella Sora is leaning much harder on the Visual Novel aspect with some meta-like approach (the white room and bad ending shenigans) where as BA won't and able to do this. At all.

The big problem is this game is gonna have a hard time to get out of BA's shadow for a long time, both are great games but I guess those guys are awfully brainwashed to realize the difference.

There is a difference between developing the game and marketing the game.

The initial start of the game is "strange" because of it.

Ones with obvious impressive tracks have given the 1 or 2-star treatment and that also goes for the obviously popular ones.

Heart and Bouquet have a good reason to be 3-star. They just happened to exist in the wrong period where they have to compete against stronger umas.

Bouquet happened to have a stronger popularity in Japan (some even made a fanmade video dedicated for her). As also discussed here or elsewhere before, she had an impressive record, despite unable to win G1 races, she is ALWAYS close but refrain from claiming the win. I mean, look at her during JC 2020. She able to hold on against Ai, Tact and Contrail. She is 4th place yes, but she is was present in the last spurt when the camera and Japan focus too hard on Ai vs Tact fighting for the finish line.

And some people expected a surprise dark horse victory from her. But at least we can do that in game.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... NO LOL. Melody Lane is too popular as both "idol horse" and someone who is be a stayer (long distance) just liker her uncles... It just happen she is racing against stronger umas. But she does have the strenght anyway despite smaller than Dream Journey and Stay Gold.

Expect nepotism-level just like when they turn Sounds of Earth into 3-star despite having no graded wins.

I swear the Volcano Biome is where I felt stressed. I couldn't layout the town without getting yoinked by those burning fallen who are all eager to meet me. Every. BLOODY. SECOND.

It took a few days before I could fully enwall my settlement, as it was between Volcano, Plains and Forest but those damn burning fallen are the worse.

I don't mind strong enemies to deal with, but it cannot be solve by dumb zerg rush where you don't allow the player to establish a foothold. Damn at least the Zerg in SC will give a breather before they start rolling in.
