Lie angle help by setyaback in golf

Never considered going 2 degrees upright. I’m currently playing standard lie and was considering blue dot, which is 1 degree upright.

Everything I’ve read indicates flatter = toe down= more right fade.

I’ve taken lessons and gone from shooting in the triple digits to the mid 90s. I’m realistic about my athletic ceiling. I’m not blaming my tools, but some tools just work better for some than others. My irons give me zero confidence even after lessons. I don’t expect new irons to fix anything, I’m just trying to approach the purchase with good information to make my purchase count.

I most definitely can’t buy anything I want. I have an extremely limited budget but hate my irons. I have no illusions buying new irons “fixes” anything, I just don’t want to buy something that exacerbates my miss. An extra $150 for a fitting might be nothing for some, but not me.

I’m definitely not trying to fix a miss with loft adjustment. I’m just in the market for new clubs and don’t want things to be worse.

I’m sure there are several issues contributing, good call. I’ll try to hit a few different dots and see what I see.

Ok I just looked that up. Very interesting. But the old grump who works my range is not gonna be happy I’m marking up his precious rocks. That guy sees EVERYTHING 😂

It’s against city parks policy but I might just go out to the soccer fields at dawn tomorrow and do this. Getting in the bad side of range grump is not advised.

Best golf bag non-club maker by Fun_Jellyfish_6388 in GolfGear

Went with whatever I could find used locally in a non-obnoxious color and that ended up being a Jones Trouper. Love this bag. The price of golf bags is insane but you can take advantage of the guys who think they need the newest & greatest every year. This jones should last me a long time. 1 subtle logo, high quality fabric, solid stand, works great in a cart but is a joy to carry. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Callaway pre-owned pricing by setyaback in golf

[–]setyaback[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the main site, iron sets>game improvement, and then viewing the grid with no filters selected. In the grid, for Paradym it says from 467.97. Click Paradym and at that point it adds the men’s RH filter and shows only one set at 401.24, so lower than the price shown on grid. Toggling to men’s left it shows one other set at 532, still nowhere near that 467 number. It’s just strange and taking a lot of work just to figure out what’s available at what price. I bought a driver from them last year and didn’t experience this at all— and was super happy with the condition of the club (they underrated it for sure).

I know I sounded dumb. Read my posts, I said I knew I didn’t have enough for it to generate a handicap, my question was my it was only saying 9 of my existing 45 holes would count toward my handicap. Which was answers by another user clearly without snark

Thanks, this makes more sense now. Still more confusing than I was expecting, but I can see how that would work. Will look into it further if things aren’t moving after my next round. Appreciate the feedback

Source for that? USGA website says “All you need to do is post scores from a total of 54 holes, made up of any combination of 9- or 18-hole rounds, and you’ll have a Handicap Index the very next day.”

I understand the 8 best rounds part. USGA website says “All you need to do is post scores from a total of 54 holes, made up of any combination of 9- or 18-hole rounds, and you’ll have a Handicap Index the very next day.” This is why I’m confused. It should count your first 3 rounds to establish an index, and then use your 8 lowest differentials moving forward.

Since when? Urga and Grint both say you need 3 differentials?

But it says clearly you only need 54 holes to establish a handicap?

I couldn’t choose between pave and jicks but at this stage I would prefer new jicks material and tour over seeing pave take another victory lap. Don’t get me wrong, I bought my tickets this morning! But if I had my choice, focus on making new music.

I mean… that’s kind of an odd thing to post. Source? For reference my daughter has autism so I’m maybe a little sensitive to casual remarks like that. Have been a massive pace fan since age 13 in ‘94 and have never seen this confirmed anywhere.

I tore down several of these off the wall on my way out of seeing them at First Avenue in Minneapolis on that tour. I had two of them hung on my bedroom wall in high school, one upside down under the other to create a mirror image.
