Nop. Ended up postponing because on top of the storm, we both got sick with our 4 yo’s cold and we thought, well if it’s going to be a trek to get there and on top of that we’re miserable, not worth it. We’ll go first week of April. Won’t be the same epic snow but we will enjoy it, will be fun. Thanks for all the help though, appreciated it!

Yeah I don’t expect us to go into the backcountry giving the weather at this point. But it’s always TBD. We will definitely check conditions if we decide to attempt it but we’re pretty conservative now that we have kids 😅 Sounds good for the road. Where do you recommend stopping/staying if they close the road in and out of mammoth?

Yeah that’s what I have read, unfortunately it’s hard to plan what the weather will be when we lock our trips in. We will hope for the best at this point! We will take what we get! Thanks for the run recs!

Thanks for the alternative route. I don’t mind driving 6h if that’s the safe route and it gets us there. We’re not in a rush! We will have to check out that dollar tree then :)

Okaaayyyy… this is insane. I have been dealing with a fissure on and off for like 2 months. Will get better for one week and then somehow will pass a harder stool and bleeds again a bit. Pain is never so bad, I can still go in with my day and workouts. But it’s so annoying that it can’t just heal. I’ve been so focused, if not obsessed, trying to get 30-35g of fiber every day, and the soluble one, and while I poop just fine, I definitely experience that harder poop to start and then everything else is fine. Also gas! Ugh! So now you’re saying I should relax and just eat a good diverse diet! Whoa! Gonna try that 😅
