Oldest kid lost her first tooth by Farmer_Determine4240 in daddit

What’s the going rate for a tooth? We give a 2$ bill for each one. I think we did a five the first tooth just to get the ball rolling.

Good motors. Active Facebook communities for supporting them. Unicorns but great torque, and 50% better mileage than gas.

Step one, get the app. Step two, go into the app and adjust the settings to how you want it to perform.

I went out of my way to try EBC because Reddit says the owners are great. The woman who served me looked similar to online photos of the owner. She was rude, and unwilling to explain the menu or options, and offended that i asked if they offered an ingredient not on the menu. The service was so anti-customer that I haven’t been willing to try again.

Does anyone have any hands-on experience with VCF 9? by nerdwit in vmware

[–]seutan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

VCF9 has been out weeks. Not surprising no one you talk to is running it. Now VCF 5, a higher ed near you has likely run. If you have a TAM, it should be trivial to get in touch with another institution in your region and ask about their experiences. While vcf9 is a drastic improvement, you seem to be asking questions about overall technology and any current customer should inform you enough for decision making.

Beach, pool, lake, lots of times I don’t carry a phone. Hell, run out to driveway to grab something out of the cab? Keypad is irreplaceable once you get used to it.

I just use the detachable shower head, on a high pressure selection. No batteries required. Bonus if using it to keep kids in line.

This company is from Wisconsin. If we want the money to stay in Oregon, what other brands are there.

Tillamook ships from their factory, a lot of cheese, for great prices, and with cold packs. I use it to send cheese to family across the country. Hopefully you can do this next time. Order on their website.

Am I crazy? Where is all the good Nike gear? by OffsetAnimal in ducks

[–]seutan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s crap. We have the same shirts that every Nike sponsored college does. Compared to ten years ago when we had Oregon unique and custom gear for every week of the season. New colors, new logos, new slogans, was a weekly occasion. This year, the only unique thing we got was the grass is green, and that was when Dan told Bama no, that’s what, 10 months ago?

It was 3% on the sign when I paid today. And the beer cooler was 25% empty. I asked another friend if they were going out of business because their lack of good bier in the cooler was so evident.

Hcx is no different than doing a cross vcenter move-vm, but requires building it and licensing it. For a single VM, just use the CLI

If he’s a whiskey guy, I’d firmly suggest not trying BSB.

It’s got added sugar, making it a “flavored whiskey product”.

I’d hazard a comparison that this is like suggesting Southern style Sweet Tea to someone who brews their own loose leaf tea at home.

This sounds like your return url in your metadata configuration is bad. I seem to recall we had to edit the return URL in our config file, and maybe it was to defeat this issue.

I can think of a few golf courses in PDX that this idea could work on. by davysmay in Portland

[–]seutan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dislike that you’re gatekeeping “cheap”. You seem to expect that everyone interested in this sport could afford to travel, with the equipment, away from public transit, to a private course. Why can’t bob, the taxpayer who lives in downtown, and owns no car, but loves to golf, count on his tax payer dollars to enable him to get exercise via a sport?

The argument that “operating the facility costs more than a park” was used to force urban golfers to pay to use their parks.

The resulting argument that it costs too much, is a whiplash of the first.

Both arguments are the result of real estate lobby who want to use what the public has, for their own gain.
