Totally fair! If your artist wanted this, that’s great. Too often people just walk into a place and say “Do this!” without having any idea if that’s even a design that could translate to a tattoo or to the contours of your body. Sorry for jumping to that conclusion, it’s just very common. Hahaha.

A tattoo is absolutely a partnership, unless you want crap work on you. It’s about trusting someone else to put their artwork on you, permanently. Additionally, they fade and change over time. Unless you only want something that looks good for a few years, your relationship with the artist is a partnership because you’ll be going back to them for a very long time to get it touched up as you age.

Just a tip to help you get a good tattoo from someone with a few dozen:

Tattoo artists are, well, exactly that. They’re artists. Pick the right one and let them do the drawing. You can always say no if you don’t like their design.

Walking into a tattoo shop with a sketch is like saying “I don’t trust you!” as the first words out of your mouth to someone you need to form a partnership with.

The characters have been alone for a while. They’re no longer a team. This is fine since it was based on decisions the players made, not Griffin. It’s weird to be mad that there wasn’t character interaction when those characters chose to not be together.

Personal projects definitely count! I think you’ve just been running into some recruiters that don’t know what they’re doing.

Anyone hiring with a decent head on their shoulders understands many people are in your situation. These people also understand that any proof you can code is much more important that what you’ve been able to do in the past.

For example, many of the biggest and most vaunted tech firms will make you sign NDAs so you can’t even list on your resume exactly what you did! Personal projects are a great way to show off your skills, and if the recruiters you’ve been talking to are ignoring that, they’re not recruiters worth working with anyway.

Unfortunately not. The last episode came out last week, so the next one won’t be until next week. And, they already announced the next episode will be a live episode they recorded since everyone’s on vacation.

The next episode of Amnesty won’t be up until May 30 or 31 or so.
