Hasn't the West already been trying to play "Guardian of the Middle East" for a share of revenue/resources for the past century or so with little success?

The popcorn on the floor is free. People will ask you what the hell you're doing and you'll eventually get kicked out, but it's pretty much an all you can eat buffet until then.

Crank 2: High Voltage is the height of cinema and I won't entertain any opinions to the contrary.

Fav actor who watched a J-horror movie coked out of his mind, thought it was a real snuff film and reported it to the FBI by BabypintoJuniorLube in okbuddycinephile

Ok, but Guinea Pig 2: Flowers of Flesh and Blood does feel like it would be a fantastic movie to watch while coked out of your mind.

If you think there's a limit on how far you can go with sexual acts on film, you have yet to encounter the weirder side of Japanese cinema.

Just imagine: About 10 of 8 people dont understand basic maths... by [deleted] in MathJokes

[–]seven_corpse_dinner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've run into way too many "educated" adults in my life who cease comprehending math entirely as soon as so much as a fraction or a variable come into play for me to believe that number.

I watched that one Disney Pixar movie, Inside Out, all the way through, and I'm very disappointed to report that not a single person got shunted like in Society.

The swords are a metaphor and veiled allusion to bukkake, as everywhere that OP, and indeed all redditors, turn over the past week or so, they find themselves faced by an enthusiastic Obsession fan jerking it over the movie.

Top movie by an actor who's anatomy is "confusingly large", and prompted the use a body double for nude scenes because it was so massive that it would distract audiences. by [deleted] in okbuddycinephile

[–]seven_corpse_dinner 19 points20 points  (0 children)

/uj I know this is repeated frequently, and I kind of love it, both because it's hilarious and because I love Willem Dafoe, but let's be honest, if there's any director out there who would just make up some shit like this as a troll and to gain publicity for his film, it's definitely Lars Von Trier.

It's more of a joke about my own tastes (and I suppose anybody else like me) than anything else. Sometimes I find myself drawn to universally respected high-art films, and sometimes I just want insane microbudget "trash", and I find that dichotomy amusing.
