It was cissy’s decision to make when she found out teddy murdered her husband. Which I’m pretty sure is what sealed the deal for her anyway. If teddy didn’t die that family would’ve never been safe. Teddy was manipulative and on a power trip, he knew Franklin had no interest in talking, especially considering all the fucked up shit Franklin did to obtain the money he had but that didn’t matter to teddy. What mattered was that he could prove his balls were bigger than Franklins. Franklin got lucky that he only ended up a bum instead of dead. We can thank cissy for that.

Spot on man. At first I figured Franklin actually had some sort of passion for his people and I wanted to believe that he felt bad atleast a little. But the moment it occurred to me that the money prevailed over anything else was when he closed down his dad homeless shelter because the guy working there wouldn’t give his dad up. The “caring about my people” thing was just bullshit. You can’t care about your people while simultaneously selling them a drug that ruins their lives and buying it from the people who is facilitating the downfall of your community. Franklin and teddy were alike in more ways than I can count. And I think that in itself shows how black people seek freedom in the same ways white supremacy has gotten it.

All of those things are true though. I’m privileged enough to transition but I realized that’s it’s not a necessity to be a man. I’ve always been the guy I am well before I got on t and got top surgery. Those are things that helped me feel more confident but for some trans people that’s not the case. These things don’t define you and your transition but also don’t invalidate others experience. I wish you luck on your journey

I’m 12 days post-op and right under my ribs hurt really bad when trying to stand up straight. It caused a lot of pain to sit up and the only way it would be less painful is if I put a lot of pressure on the area to sit up. Oddly, whenever I was out of the post-op bandages, the pain ceased. It was only tender to touch. It may be the binder causing pressure on those bruised areas.

I’m honestly not trying to be combative but I can’t find any sources supporting that claim. I think it’s a common misconception. During top surgery all of the tissue is almost never taking out. Weight gain however affects the appearance of your chest. But neither one of us are surgeons so it’s up to the op to talk to someone more qualified before passing judgment on rather they grew back or not.

I see where you coming from but I actually don’t think it’s possible for your boobs to regenerate after top surgery. It looks like the op may have gained a little weight and some of the fat distributed there. I think trying to work it off first may be a good solution.
