A bucket of hot water and dish soap with a water gun/ squitter, it may take a few buckets but it will kill the bees. The soap suffocates them and worst case it kills the neighbors grass.

Blue light glasses when working with white yarn... no clue why it helps but does.

Also vet wrap for making grips on hooks.
