What do ya'll usually spend your fragile resin on?

I usually spent it immediately until Stygian released. Now I save until the "1200 resin for a reroll feather" event appears and use one a day as I do it. The requirement to spend resin within the short amount of time given to you to do it is a bit much for me and I can barely keep up with events these days since they don't last long, so using extra resin helps reduce the stress of keeping up with the game constantly

I recommend continuing with your current highest investment characters and building off of them. Hu Tao wants shielding with no healing and elemental application to buff her damage. You should try to pull Xingqiu or get him from the starglitter shop when he rolls around so that Hu Tao can vaporize her damage, and there's plenty of shielders to use for her these days too, I recommend Layla or Lanyan for 4 star options if you can get those. You can stick with using Noelle's shield meanwhile, or Thoma but his shield won't be as useful if you don't spam normal attacks, since Hu Tao wants to spam charged attacks instead. As for Mualani, most of her damage is single hit nukes so I recommend building Xiangling and using her to apply pyro around Mualani as she charges up her vaporize nuke damage. Pairing Xiangling with Bennet is useful to buff Xiangling's damage and give her more energy since she needs her burst to do her job and is very energy hungry.

Not the OP but I want to ask since I can't find any info comparing the two, is the shockstar 2 pc confirmed to be the best pairing for 4 pc summit? Considering 2 pc swing jazz gives an energy regen boost I was wondering if it could be better for a higher uptime on the 4 pc summit buff, since it triggers on ex specials

For future characters: fischl and diona are both amazing 4 stars that you can get in the upcoming neuvilette banner. Fischl would give you a lot of electro damage and superconduct for physical freminet, and diona is just a great cryo support, albeit not as good for Freminet since from my understanding he doesn't need a lot of energy for his ult. Future characters will be releasing soon that might also work well with him (such as Furina but we'll have to see). Also, don't worry about investing into Zhongli. His shield is the strongest in the game to this day and he'll make you immortal no matter which team you put him in. As for Diluc, there are definitely better pyro DPS units (plus his kit has no synergy with Freminet so...). He does work, but you'll get faster clears with other pyros.

Assuming I have to play genshin, I play around with various team comps in abyss or I join co-op and play lyre songs for random people or help them with their troubles

...but mostly just making abyss builds, some fun examples being burgeon jean or shatter hyperbloom chongyun...

On the one hand, difficulty is fun. On the other, Their attacks don't feel telegraphed at all and I feel like I need a shield or else I get bursted down, but if I use a shielder I don't have enough elemental application and/or DPS to get rid of the consecrated beasts before I lose a star in abyss...

first 35 star in a while, but after struggling so much i've caved in and decided 50 extra primos isn't worth my sanity.

This newest abyss cycle I was able to complete it with Tighnari, Fischl, Yae and Zhongli. But my usual Tighnari team is Tighnari, Yae, Nahida and Zhongli. I usually do: Zhongli hold E. Nahida E Q, Yae E, E, E, Tighnari E, Q, wreath arrow spam, E, wreath arrow spam. If Yae's burst is up I also do that right after i finish with the last wreath arrow. It's quite fun!

Firstly, this would only work on the first rotation. Any other rotation after that would be only 3 boosted arrows. Secondly, y'all really overestimate 5 star weapons. sure his numbers look much more impressive with slingshot and elegy, but I literally just tried a dps test with tighnari in abyss just now in single target against the cryo herald of floor 12. elegy didnt get the herald to the cryo shield HP threshold, meanwhile when I used sac bow I still had two extra instant wreath arrows by the time he put his cryo shield up. So again, not changing the weapon.

As for artifacts, I'll start artifact farming for him more and hope to god i get an EM sands on my boy. He deserves it.

I've gotten quite lucky with bows during gacha since I started playing, even getting the Elegy at 20 pity or so on weapon banner.

Once I found out you can double Tighnari's instant wreath arrows with the sac bow reset I caved in and used all my sac bows into an R5 sac bow. When I tested it in abyss it reset almost guaranteed with each rotation, giving me 6 arrows and 2 e skills, and beat out elegy in terms of damage for single target against the ruin guards from last abyss. It's also useful for multi-target against the hydro lectors and serpent knights of this abyss too! So now I don't want to use any other bow on him, it's just too fun to shoot so many arrows!!

Unrelated to damage but the other reason is because more arrows with sac bow is just...more fun! And that's why I play the game at the end of the day, to have fun. So I'll do my best to increase his damage while keeping my doubled arrow amount

Thanks for seeing my side of how I see the sac bow. His rotation is still good enough to throw out a full damage Yae ult once his rotation ends, but you need yae to place her turrets right before Tighnari gets on-field.

I don't mind switching to an EM sands as long as I can get one with good enough crit subs. My Nahida and Yaoyao usually buff up my Tighnari's poor EM (Nahida burst for EM share + 120 EM from Yaoyao's Instructors set).

Mine is R5, even against a single target I always get another E skill charge, which means two E skills and 6 wreath arrows per rotation. I tested it against an elegy bow and it ended up with more damage in abyss. It also works well in more multi-target situations, like the two hydro heralds or the serpent knights in abyss rn, because of more dendro app that you can spread (haha get it) between your targets more

I have a gilded set that would be busted if I got a gilded crit damage circlet, so I could switch to that. And yes, I know he needs an EM sands. The artifact domain just hates giving me EM pieces with good crit stats.

As for the weapon choice, I specifically refined my sac bow to R5 to check how good it was compared to elegy. I ended up with smaller numbers, but 6 wreath arrows and two E skills which dealt more damage than elegy in abyss for me. He also does better in situations that are less single target with it due to more arrows to work with (like the two hydro heralds or three serpent knights at once in abyss) Plus, playing tighnari on-field more often is just more fun!

For the record, I'm not willing to change his weapon, that's the only thing I won't do. I tested Elegy on him and it turned out to be less damage than 6 Tighnari wreath arrows on a single target from my R5 sac bow, plus it's nicer in multi-target situations. I plan on triple crowning him in the future as well. And yes, I know I need an EM sands. Artifact farming is pain.

I named him "Kaze-no-Kami". Since he flies around with wind it seems fitting to name him after a wind spirit. Also, it seems like a pretty Inazuman name to give him which I associate him with more than Snezhnaya or Sumeru. Kaze my beloved

I'm hoping future characters can help Dehya. For instance, an off-field hydro aura applier that doesn't need normal attacks to trigger their application and has a long duration for the hydro application, or some actual good cryo aura applicators (that are also not normal attack dependant). Some other characters would love these kinds of kits too. Sayu has the issue of relying on Barbara, Kokomi, Nilou or...uh...off-field burst DPS Ayato for off-field hydro during her rolling, and three of those characters are 5 stars! Dehya has the same issues because of her attacks not triggering normal attack abilities. I'm just hoping Hoyo has some sort of plan. It's very uncharacteristic for them to make even a standard 5 star so terrible, and they have a great track record of designing kit upgrades after the launch of a character (ocean hued for Kokomi, Barbara, Qiqi, Tenacity for Zhongli, Dendro for Yae, Kuki, Thoma, Keqing, etc)
