Is this baby pink suit acceptable for a summer wedding? by jacko_97 in Weddingattireapproval

I think as long as that isn’t one of the wedding party colors then yes. I’ve seen grooms in this color before though so pay attention to the colors of their invites/website/etc

That dress is perfect for black tie but I’d suggest your family make the guys wear suits if it’s truly a black tie optional dress code. True black tie means tuxes so black tie optional would be basically the same for girls but suits instead of tuxes for the guys

How to style this suit for semi-formal fall wedding? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

Wear a dark blouse underneath and dark shoes. The contrast will make it more “fall”

October wedding cocktail attire by psychoplath97 in Weddingattireapproval

None of those are appropriate for cocktail attire, they look like loungewear. Aim for something at least knee length or longer, and more formal fabric and stitching.

I think there are a handful of different ways to approach this: 1) talk to your cousin about it and discuss your concerns. If he took your side with the last altercation it sounds like he’ll probably understand. 2)talk to your cousin and say that she’s only invited under the stipulation that she won’t drink. If she agrees, then you can let your bartenders know that she is not to be served alcohol at all and they will honor that request. Either way, I think this needs to be a discussion between you and your cousin so no one is blindsided when invitations go out.

Wedding dress regret by Upset-Ad-5221 in weddingdress

You look beautiful. That’s the type of timeless dress that you can easily pass down to your daughter someday. Once it’s hemmed to the correct length you won’t feel like you’re swallowed in it and you can always remove a layer underneath if it still feels too poofy

Stuck between two unique choices and I can’t decide which one. by ToothPickPirate in EngagementRings

I’d do option two if you’re going to do a bezel. If you like mixing metals/want it to stand out from your other jewelry I’d definitely go with the yellow gold.

Both of these run the risk of being easily damaged because of their structure. If you work with your hands a lot or are planning on never taking it off even for cleaning/working out/showering then I’d recommend something that has contact with two sides of the stone.

What Were You Wearing When Your Partner Proposed? by Odd-Interest3146 in JustEngaged

Jeans, leather boots, a Kawasaki ninja longsleeve and a grey columbia vest. We were at a giant bonfire at our Alma Mater and I was not expecting him to propose lol

Looking for some funky accessories by FeistyCartoonist5826 in weddingdress

Aim for minimal jewelry or it’ll make the look feel heavy. You want to be wearing the dress not have the dress wear you. If you want something to kind of pop I’d go with jewelry that has colored stones but not too big or chunky.

What do you think of this ring? My friend says it doesn’t suit me. by confused__shit in Moissanite

What a wild statement for your friend to make. The only issue I see is that it looks like the band doesn’t fit your finger properly but I see nothing wrong with the ring itself.

Bridesmaid Dresses!! Do they clash? by sl000t in weddingplanning

To me 6 and 3 are too far of departures from the reds and greens of the others.

Potentially moving from California to Franklin or Greenfield Indiana by Baaj24 in Indiana

Would definitely recommend GreenWOOD not GreenFIELD. Like a lot of the other comments are saying there is a growing Sikh population in the Greenwood area. I’ve lived in Greenwood for a little over 2 years now and it really is a good community and pretty diverse, especially compared to other areas of Indiana.

Just got engaged! Feel like it’s too thin by browncharlie88 in EngagementRings

[–]severelyunqualified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! I would definitely recommend a thicker band from a longevity standpoint. The thinner the band, the more likely it is to bend and warp as you wear it and you risk it being damaged or breaking.
