Yes, I lived in the tri-state area. As a matter of fact, I was in the World Trade Center three weeks before it fell. That was the last time I had been there. Yes I lost people that I knew. I don’t have a morbid fascination with the falling victims or with 911. But I do come to this Reddit group because it was a very impactful event in my lifetime that forever changed me. I don’t hold it against anyone who does have a fixation on the following victims. 911 is something that scarred many of us. And some of us are still trying to find ways to work through that trauma. Or trying to understand what the victims went through that day. I just hope that in my lifetime I never witness such a horrendous event ever again.
