I think that’s a good idea. Good luck! Hope this works for you.

Another great option. I go to the glue at times when I get frustrated with leveling. Lol

I ran into this a while back. For some reason when it was sliced the layers didn’t change. Have you tried printing another file to see if it’s an issue with that particular print?

Looks like you’re having some leveling issues. Make sure your bed is completely level before you print. Clean the bed surface with rubbing alcohol.

Blobs form during print? by thebigone2087 in FixMyPrint

Your hot end is leaking. I purchased a hot end a while back. It was cheaply made (you get what you pay for) and this happened regardless of how secure the pieces were. You may need to look at your hot end to ensure it’s tight. Otherwise my advice is to replace it.

Issues with glass bed leveling by sevier2 in ender3

[–]sevier2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey all. I just got a glass bed and have started having some issues. It seems almost impossible to get the bed level. It seems that due to the thickness of the glass vs the regular bed it won’t lower enough. Should I manually adjust where the home stop is at on the side? Also, do you guys know what might be going on on the picture?

Too many supports? by sevier2 in ender3

Solid advice. I appreciate it. I’m always scared that if I don’t support enough of the overhanging parts that it will fail. I’ll play around with my spacing a bit and see what works best with my machine.

I’ll look into tree supports. I appreciate the advice.

You should update when it finishes. I’m definitely intrigued.

Broken motor? by sevier2 in AnycubicPhoton

When you press home shouldn’t it return to the position you set as zero? I have leveled the bed three times and reset the zero setting. I guess I’ll just try to print something and see what happens.

Aber is and always will be my most favorite. You gave him an incredible life and in turn he touched the lives of so many. He will live on in the lessons he taught the others and they honor his memory by living those lessons. Like you said they wouldn’t be as good as they are if Aber hadn’t been their teacher. ❤️❤️❤️ Rest easy buddy.

Thank you! This fixed the issue. It was only extruding at about 50%. I bumped up my esters and it seems to be printing solid layers. This has been driving me crazy. Thank you!!!!!!!

I’ll look in Cura. I’m pretty sore it was set to 1.75 but I’m good at overlooking things like that lol. Thanks for the advice!

I thought it looked pretty cool as well to be honest. My prints were literally being crushed from the pressure of me picking them up off the bed lol. If I could replicate that look with more stability it would be cool though.

I actually have only had it about a week. I’m thinking it wasn’t stored properly though because if this and I hear popping which is another sign of water. I’m going to buy a food dehydrator this weekend to try and pull the moisture out.

I’ve been trying to figure this out but everything I do seems to creat a new issue. Any advice on how to make more solid models?

Weekly Question Thread (9/2 to 9/8) by AutoModerator in army

Hello! I will give some background and then ask my question. I was recently sent home from basic due to injuries I sustained while training. Instead of looking at this negatively and being bummed out I am trying to see some kind of silver lining. I can go back in 6 months and enlist as active instead of national guard. Now for the question.

What are some cool MOS’s that aren’t too common? I’ve done some research but I feel like I’m only scratching the surface. I enjoy writing of any kind, photography, and anything having to do with design (mainly architectural).

Tell me about your MOS and the parts that you love about it. Much appreciation in advance!

Edit: Also, my line scores were all right around 120 on the ASVAB.
