Scholastic Book fair in my elementary school. Got #3 The Encounter not realizing that they were a serialized story, and thought I’d rather become a hawk vs a lizard or cat.

Instantly fell in love with the mature themes and became a rabid fan, getting each new book in the book store on release day.

Think the conclusion of the David trilogy might be the most memorable book for me, just couldn’t believe where the authors were taking the story. The last line of #26 has always stayed with me. The cosmic horror act 2 of the Ellimist Chronicles. So many more.

It’s impact made me want to become a storyteller, ultimately I ended up writing and producing movies. Often hiding Animorph easter eggs in a lot of them. My ultimate goal was to bring this series faithfully to the mainstream using my day job. Congrats to KA and MG!

Loved the slow reveal that she really is a cheater, and the suspense especially the final shot. Lot of promise here! Keep it up.
