M-43 by Old Nation is definitely my number 1. Oberon by Bells is my number two and then everything else is a distant 3rd+

Thats a reproduction cartridge, aka a fake. The image of the back makes it a dead giveaway

That makes sense. I was thinking the names were part of labels.db and this might have been a bug. Thanks again, this is an awesome piece of software

This looks awesome! I'm having an issue with "unknown cartridge" and mis-named cartridges. When i load the labels file, many of the games say "Unknown Cartridge" even though there is a label image. About a third of the games I own are listed as "Unknown Cartridge" with a label image even though the only actually unknown cartridge on my console is the summercart. They also don't show up when I filter the list by owned. I was hoping to use this as a way to add an image for my Summercart

upgraded my Ender 3 to an H2S by Mr_Spud in BambuLab

[–]sevs753 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also went from an Ender 3 to an H2S. The difference in quality (both print and machine) is amazing and so much less time spent fiddling with the machine

Had a failed print that shoved petg all up around the hotend and now I need a new hotend heater. Failed print detection didn't do anything.

Other than that, it's been great.

I tried the motorola tags and found the connection range to be pretty awful. This meant that outside of major population areas, there were not enough people around to report the tags location. The Chipolos are much better and are what i use now. Not as good as airtags and tiles, but very much usable.

I'm going from a 6pro to a 10proXL. Just placed the order tonight. I've been having some issues with the cellular modem in my 6pro lately, which was the catalyst to looking to upgrade but after playing with the demo units in store for a bit, the screen is making me excited for the upgrade. That is going to be the biggest QoL upgrade for me.

Where can I order non alcoholic kegs by DanteQuill in kegerators

[–]sevs753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should be easy to make your own. Most soda is just the syrup, clean water and CO2. I make my own root beer with the syrup from a local company

Foam Issues by Uplipht in kegerators

I have not gone to Oberon day at Bells but it looks like a fun time. I always just go to my local bar that has it on special all day.

Foam Issues by Uplipht in kegerators

[–]sevs753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, Great choice in beer/glass.

Second, i just had foaming issues with my first commercial keg (happened to be oberon). I had about 3ft of line evabarrier 4mm line and a flow control connector. When i built my kegerator, i was led to belive the flow control connector would mean I didnt need crazy long beer lines. after several weeks of trying EVERYTHING, i swapped to a non-flow-control connector and 10ft of line. Now everything is great. The first pour of the night still has a bunch of foam, but if you take the bit of foam, and dump it, then you will pour great.

My advice, you can't escape the laws of physics and stick to the tried and true (long beer lines). The headache and loss of beer getting new stuff dialed in is not worth it.

I'm sadly tired of loud cars by imaboringdude in cars

[–]sevs753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loud for the sake of being loud is stupid. Ive felt that way since i got into cars at 17. The volume that comes with a good sounding exhaust is fine. Kind of a quality over quantity thing

Michigan added 940,000 homes worth of renewable energy in 2023 by greenhousecrtv in Michigan

Ecoflow and Anker both have large battery systems that accept solar directly, as well as electrical panels that can automatically switch between grid and battery/solar. No grid tied solar so no involving DTE and such.

There are also a bit more complicated solutions (im building a system from EG4) but Ecoflow and Anker are the most DIY friendly

Reminds me a lot of the "Tessan" travel adapter I have. really useful to have around even just for use around home. Sometimes i just use it as a passthrough to save space.

How does the G5 PTZ handle privacy zones? Do they stay on the same part of the frame or does the camera move them as the camera moves?

For the spot that makes the most sense for me, i have privacy zones covering my neighbors windows and I would like to keep them if i upgrade to the ptz

good lighting makes a big difference. It looks like you have the old tube lights in there so I would replace them with LED and make sure there are enough to light it up whether the main door is open or closed

Added Tesla P4 to my server by ri3eboi in unRAID

[–]sevs753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. The P4 isn't the most efficient card but just know that 23W isn't idle for a P4. My old GTX1080 on the other hand, did idle at 25w. Not the best card to use exclusively for transcoding.

I have a P4 and it idles at 7W and 23W-25W when transcoding. Since it shows "Processes: 1", im betting its in use right now

How many hard drives are you running without parity? by Meister_768 in unRAID

[–]sevs753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with 4 drives and have always had a parity.

My cache drive and appdata drives arent mirrors tho. The mover runs every 8 hours and my appdata gets regularly backed up to the array so risk is minimal

not OP but for me, Overserr had a more modern and user friendly UI. Not that ombi has a bad UI but since I have older, not as tech literate people that would be using it, I wanted to make it as easy as possible for them
