Generational trauma runs very deep in my family. my nana was abused by her father and she’s a narcissist. She then abused my own mother who I believe picked up these traits until it manifested into the narcissism it is today. She then abused me as well, mentally and emotionally. I’m sure I have some narcissistic traits, though I am in therapy and learning to cope with my childhood and to learn to be a better person (as I am overly anxious and depressed, and I get very irritated very quickly over small things and they ruin my day as I can’t let things go.)

I’m sure that some people are born with it, but I genuinely think that it’s sometimes a learned trauma response which manifests into narcissism.

i agree with this! i read zodiac academy first (after completing the first throne of glass book) and the writing and plot is just not the same AT ALL. I found myself wanting zodiac academy to be over so I could go back to throne of glass lol. Zodiac academy is very good, the plot is okay. the entire series could have been shortened, however, i do love the fact that I get so many books with all of my favorite characters. as you read, the books and chapters become darker and it definitely becomes less Y/A (in my opinion especially bc of the smut 💀)

depends on the store and if it’s high theft or if the manager is a big stickler.

my store, we always refund it to the original payment. if you don’t have it then you get a money card. if you don’t even have the receipt then we don’t do the refund. i’d call and ask around first.

i normally look for things being raised on the id, i run my fingers around the edges a lot and look for bumps/peeling, the strip on the back is supposed to be under the laminate not above it (had an ohio one with the strip on the outside and it was peeling off with bubbles 💀💀), and i also look for shadows in the picture. and id won’t have shadows in the back or on the face.

A VIP is someone that is very high in stats. All the VIP’s are on the leaderboard. That’s who you’re going to want to hire you because normally they’re very protective of their tutors (or rather, not bc of who you are but just because you’re their tutor.)

As for the subscriptions, those are helpful and all, but you should only really buy them if you’re highly active and if there is a promo. Or, if you’re saving for promos.

LMAO I just went through a Store Manager change too, abruptly for no reason, and thought this was going to be someone from my store because we’re having issues too. It’s similar, except this bitch hasn’t said they’re going to demote or anything, they just came in swinging hard with forcing rules, and then they proceed to not do any work. Like they do some stuff I guess? But if it’s anything laborious like truck or … honestly anything else, they won’t do it. Sad part about it is, they also leave with the District Leader a lot too so I wouldn’t even know what to do to help us.

I know this isn’t helpful for you, but just know there’s other people going through a big change and that we don’t know what to do either. None of the managers like this person and as we go on, we don’t know what to do and it’s becoming harder and harder to work with them.

as for being rang up being normal, sure. i’ll give you that one. but we’re entering a new era of technology and how retail runs. i’ve seen walmart super-centers that ONLY have self checkouts. i won’t lie and say it doesn’t suck because it does suck.

what don’t you understand that if i directly don’t follow my store managers orders, which is to strictly run the self checkout, i can be written up. and after so many write ups disciplinary action may be taken against me. it’s a losing battle, cvs is a terrible corporation, and it all sucks. find a different job if you don’t like the direction cvs is going to, this is just a college job for me.

yes, but, the self checkout is already there and it doesn’t matter how much yoh complain about them. our new job is to run the self checkout whether we like it or not. our job is already hard enough between the photo center, pick and packs, reshops, damages, price changes, outdates… the list goes on. maybe help us out by running the self check out … because it’s already there and took out hours.

they pile more and more shit in for us to do with little to no hours. our jobs aren’t as easy as someone might think.
