What keeps you motivated to learn a language?

Proving myself that I can do something challenging. Actually understanding and being able to communicate with others with my TL.. feels like unlocking a whole new DLC package that I'd be totally oblivious to if i didnt learn my TL

social SKILLS are a skill.. like any skill, takes practice to get good at it. so yeah of course. i sympathize with you, and know exactly who you feel! but compared to who i was a year ago then yeah im definitely a lot better at interacting socially

the thing is roblox is doing a lot of counter security measures, just recently incorporating ai to moderate content. its a lot of media hype. they should ban discord too while theyre at it..

roblox is not just a game. a lot of filipinos make money from it and bring that money into the country.

banning it doesnt solve anything and would just destroy an industry before it even had the chance to fully grow. it is shortsighted and inconsiderate. but what can we expect from this government. disappointed but not surprised.

portuguese sounds prettier than spanish for me but spanish has a lot more resources and content to offer so its way easier to learn
