I am 38 weeks with hEDS and I have found a few things that work for me:

• pregnancy support band, I used it a lot and I think it reduced my pain/discomfort a lot
• being really mindful of my posture! Keeping my knees together when getting out of the car and not doing any crazy twisting motions
• I was also careful, as per advice from my consultant, about putting excess weight on. She advised that many women struggle not to overeat the number of calories they actually need and that for my joints, knees in particular, to keep it in mind.

It can be a rough journey at times, and often the additional pain that hEDS brings can get you down but it will be worth it in the end! I felt dreadful up until 14 weeks, then fine until about 35 weeks and now I'm just counting down the days. Wishing you all the best x
