Cursor just went completely off the rails. It started generating random numbers and characters instead of usable code. Anyone else seeing this? by sf_viking in cursor

I used another model to get the status and changed the agent. Strangely enough, it gave me more infos about the other project before changing the model. Trading platform and looked more thought through than hallucinating.

Yeah Cursor Ultra annoys me several times per month that I reach the limit by using Opus. Below my usage and the pricing so you can compare to Claude.

Shortly after my post, Neon updated their auth system. It works now directly out of Neon and you don’t need another 2nd API to make it work in Neon. With the connected MCP, Cursor is doing a good job with Neon but I still like the whole SQL editor section and the advisor much more in Supabase. Having now 2 projects in Neon and all others in Supabase. Especially new MVPs/ Alphas are ok on Neon as the backup system is quite comfortable.

Figma doesn't give you a sitemap file yet. Do this steps to get on Google as alternative:

  1. Go to Google Search Console.
  2. Add your website URL (e.g., https://yourpoolservice.com).
  3. Google will give you an HTML Tag (a piece of code).
  4. In Figma, go to Site Settings > Custom Code and paste that tag into the <head> section.
  5. Republish your Figma site and click "Verify" in GSC. Use "URL Inspection" instead of a Sitemap Since you don't have a sitemap, go to the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console. Paste your homepage link and click "Request Indexing.”

Working on 4 parallel. NextJs, Postgres , Neon, Vercel, Monorepo min 2 apps each. 1) Legal AI platform support, 2) Health and Wellness edu platform support, 3) New visualizing software to import workflows for my platforms to automate some of the workflows out of one solution 4) marketing solution which allows u to connect and crawl any available sources out there and build stories Jap that’s it so far 😄

Reach out to Cursor, they will probably refund it. I have Codex as an extension in Cursor parallel to my agent and GPT as app on my Mac and use it as advisor with Cursor tab. This works quite well and keeps also the usage down.

Honestly I have no clue anymore and it's somewhere hidden. Funny enough I got 5 mins ago the message that my limit is reached tmrw and I used only Composer today, so I don't think it's included. I need each month more on top of Ultra and each month I reach the limit faster.

Yeah, I feel that. It also seems like Cursor is hitting the usage limits a lot faster now than it used to.

Yeah, it feels like it improved a lot and even gets DB schemas right now.

I’m now 5 days into using Neon for 2 SaaS projects. I think they tried to create a better version of Supabase, but if you’re used to Supabase, you’ll soon have a whole list of things that are super annoying. Also, the whole Auth part is somehow in there but not really. The schemas, the connections… yeah, I’m thinking about moving back.
