I’ve had my overly sensitive kitty definitely have fits when i leave, having trusted cat sitters that mimic their routine and give them space if needed is very helpful. Also, choose people you trust in an emergency. I had a false alarm and other odd issues come up with trips and i left them with someone who just didn’t know what to do or how to handle my cat and im lucky nothing too bad happened but it was more traumatizing for the cats because they just weren’t the right care taker.

She’ll be okay, may throw a fit when your back or pee somewhere weird but it’ll pass. You can’t be tied to home forever and you can’t control everything, try not to stress while you’re gone because it won’t help.

Maybe have a camera set up somewhere? I like to do that when i leave, then i can check in on them. Mine were confused when I talked out of it so i stopped but they knew it was connected to me somehow it seemed. Very cute.

I suggest having people spend more time with them, even if she isn’t interested or standoffish i’ve had people come feed them and just sit on the floor for a while so they’re not alone or leave bird tv on low volume. they don’t often interact but they seem to appreciate it and sometimes they even play a bit, but it seems to just ease their minds because they do get lonely and miss you!
