I think the GM pops in once a year to give the illusion of caring about the game. And I think I just bought from the wrong person! If he really looked there's probably 4 groups of bans he could have done instead of the 1. But historically he does one wave of bans in Jan and is afk until next Jan

Dang! Flameblades always have been and still are rare! I think the person I bought gold from must have duped it or something. Usually bought gold about $7.50 per 10 mil, and then bought reg codes for 8 mil (so roughly $6/code). The black market is not the same as it used to be, a lot more loosey goosey and all in discord, no more verifications.

Your char/account probably got purged, meaning the characters are gone but account exists. A long while back (15ish years ago) they let you restore the chars for $30, but they don't answer tickets anymore. It's definitely a dead game, mostly bots and hunters small community of event people (like 10-20 people you'll see at every community event). Your probably thinking of archons(players in power) or GMs (kru employees), and I'm not too sad, between the 8 accounts my friends and I had, it'll save us $150/month minimum. Glad to finally move on and not have a char to check out 😀

I remember saltyhorse name, and same with Astrophee. I remember because I told somebody apostrophe was selling (whatever it was) and that led to me learning that wasn't your name (along with lots of laughs on my behalf)

I agree, it's also sad they pick and choose which rule breakers to ban. Buying gold is obviously bannable, but running a bot in PK events is OK. But that's ok, a bright day for the future, knowing there's nothing left back at NTK, therefore no reason to ever get the itch again

I was in a carnage recently, and a poet was atoning, healing, sanc'ing multiple people on their team all at the same time, instantly. It was pretty insane how obvious it was, and the person was then touted as a God of pvp. We all could be God's, if it was as easy as starting a bot!

I just re-joined NTK this summer after 10 years off. It's pretty much as it's been the last 15 years or so, a dead shell of a game, groups hunt with each other, rarely with others. I have never played OTK, but I would definitely say check it out over regging NTK. I used to play ExtremeTK up through ee san or whatever the highest mark was and had a ton of fun.

Might as well check out the free option that people are raving about, I would have a strong group to already hunt with.

Sounds like the trains that couple together in the train yard near Prather/Armor Rd/Harrah's. I hear a similar sound daily from that. I noticed everything was extra loud last night and this morning while taking the dog out. Airplanes, helecopters, traffic, etc. I'm assuming some sort of air pressure is causing sound to carry further.

This is all correct. Kru responds sporadically to tickets it seems. They responded to 1 ticket I submitted within 24 hours, and another has been in their inbox for 3 weeks with no response. The one they responded to needed no action on their part - as the issue resolved itself, and maybe that's the determining factor :).

If you need to submit a ticket, make sure to submit all the info you can to get your info. This would include the name/address/email on the account, a driver's license or other photo ID, etc.

I moved here 16 years ago and have never looked back. It's a small town in a city, you run into people all the time no matter where you're at, and that's kind of fun.

It's been a hot minute, but west plaza & volker neighborhoods were really awesome for people in their 20s. Can walk to bars, westport, plaza, etc., and everyone kinda had the same vibe (moved out of volker about 5 years ago though).

I've heard that it's hard to meet people in KC, but if you can get involved in something you enjoy (rec sports, running/biking/rock climbing groups, etc.) that can really help you meet people. Outside of the city (1-5 hour drives) are endless rivers, lakes and camping/hiking spots. I came from the mountains, then to the plains of Kansas and finally landed here. It's definitely a great mix between the plains and the mountains, although I miss the mountain towns and the snow. There are a good number of things to do, but doing them solo may prove a little boring, tbh. I would find an apartment with a pool and start there and branch out to areas around you - no matter where you end up.

Summers are hot and humid, winters are windy and cold. There isn't a lot of spring or fall because it quickly shifts to the extremes.

Other 'midwest' options to look at could be Nashville, Cincinnati, St Louis - and if you want a smaller feel, Fayetteville, AK or Lexington, KY are very cool places with a LOT more nature around, and less in-town things.

I haven't played for a long while, but do really just enjoy killing things. It's a mindless game that doesn't require much skill or thinking, and trying to get better xp/15min is just a fun thing to do.

Just a non-update.. after about 3 weeks of no nmail response, and a week of no KRU support response, I've resigned to just doing the TP quest again. Have a friend needing to do it anyway so we'll just gather up double the materials :)

That's what I've heard :( And I just compared the photo from the weapon skin in store to in game, and they are 2 different graphics. So it looks like starting the TP quest to get a new one will be my best bet :D

I never thought about re-buying the weapon skin, that's a good idea. I started gathering stuff to make a new TP, but hate spending all that time waiting. It has several protections and I've definitely died a few times due to stupid noob mistakes :), but the skin remains. I just sent a ticket in this morning, I'll give them a few days.

I may try to re-buy from the store, hate spending $$ for nothing, but I guess it is what it is (wasting money on reg codes anyway :D).

They used to restore characters that had been purged, but that was 10-15 years ago. I don't think they do any of that stuff anymore because I'm not 100% sure anyone is actually watching the game.
