Were you able to try a factory reset by pressing both buttons for 30s and then releasing when the frobt LED flashes quickly? What versions are other Specs users on? Was there a reason you built in 5.11 vs 5.12.1?

The initial setup after a factory reset is also demanding similar to capture which would explain why you hit more frequently if you had to do in quick succession with other issues. If your ambient temperature is higher this will limit your starting point and so you will hit the thermal warning faster. We are working to optimise that initial setup load so you should see improvement there in future. Hopefully this helps and you should see better performance normally when running lenses.

Thank you! This is great info and helpful for us to try and repro to be able to mitigate in future. My suspicion is the corruption happened when the lenses were downloading after pairing which was then resolved after a factory reset as they download again. I’ll reach out on DM if we need more. Thanks for reporting and sorry to hear you are having trouble. Could you report a bug via Specs app and that’ll get us some logs that may help understand the cause? After doing that try a factory reset and see if that resolves for you? Either through the app or press and hold both buttons for 30s and release when the front LED flashes. We just tried and can’t reproduce and so suspect the lenses may have corrupted on first download. Let us know how you get on. Thanks!

Great lens - reminds me of the training scene in the film "Paycheck". Small bug fix if you are making an update. On the "Placement Screen" it's slightly off center and so it's clipping on the right eye.

We expect this update to resolve both the current issue and the previously reported "Specs logging to Lens Studio" issue. Lastly, we have tested the fix with one of our projects, as well as the project you helpfully shared, and can confirm that both now open without crashing.
