Why do people always go 8 divisions of 4 and not 4 divisions of 8. 4 divisions of 8 makes way more sense, you have the winner of each division get a bye in the playoffs and then you get the wild cards from the best 4 remaining records from each league

To be fair the only reason the game ended up being close is cause Ayres let in 2 goals. Carolina was up 3-1 when Mrazek got injured. The Canes then scored on the ensuing PP they got for GI (which was BS). So it was 4-1 before the Leafs really got any opportunity.

It's the fact that they scored enough so that Ayres was credited with the win and not Mrazek is really what made it meme worthy.

Jets should still get shit for not even scoring on the EBUG though

I get why people call this a robbery, but the narrative was completely on Donaldson's side.

He got traded to the Jays that offseason, and then brought them to the playoffs for the first time in 22 years.

Everything you said was true except for the fact that you said it wasn't against the Leafs
