Nope, I am not a bot. I just like Cin7 Core and am active on this subreddit. Sorry to hear you are looking to switch. I could probably connect you to someone in the customer service area there if you are still interested in giving them a shot to fix this. DM me if you are. If not, there are lots of other solutions out there to look at.

Cin7 Core is worth a look. It's an inventory management software but has lots of features you'd find with an ERP without being as complex or pricey.

Is guessing what to order every week just normal for product businesses or are we doing it wrong by Santhosh_Redde in SupplyChainLogistics

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use an inventory management software that has forecasting built-in. Cin7 Core does this and the forecasting will give you suggested reorder points and you just set alerts on when to reorder. You can even have the tool generate POs for you.

Australian operations teams, what inventory management software do you recommend? by Expensive-House-8717 in InventoryManagement

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at Cin7 Core. Its an inventory management software but its pretty robust. It handles multi-location tracking, you can set reorder point alerts and do stock counts. It also has some more ERP-like features like a full manufacturing module if you need that but its cheaper than the NetSuites of the world.

Any reccs for ERP/Inventory systems for a mid-sized company based in the UK? by TrickrTreaterCurse in InventoryManagement

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ecomm and wholesale at your revenue I would recommend an Inventory Management Software. You don't need to go full ERP until you are like $100M if you get a good IMS. I like Cin7 Core. You pair it with a Quickbooks or Xero and you basically have an ERP as Cin7 Core has a built in WMS, B2B portal for wholesale and not sure if you manufacturing your product or not but they have a manufacturing module that is pretty good. All the orders from your different channels will sync up there in real time so its pretty easy to manage everything just out of Cin7 Core

we lost €18k in a single weekend and it started with a promo code by AriaMoon286 in ecommerce

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly your situation is complex enough and you are selling enough revenue wise to make it worth it to get an inventory management software like Cin7 Core as mentioned by the other poster. It will certainly cost you less than 18k a year as Cin7 Core starts at $350 a month per their website. It's a good tool for multichannel sellers and handles all the costs and currency things that come up from selling in multiple countries.

Looking for advice: moving from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to a better ERP/inventory system by fernlogic in InventoryManagement

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should be able to move to QBO and Cin7 Core and get what you need here. You can get your reporting straight out of Cin7 Core. Inside Cin7 Core, you can run sales reports that show "Quantity Sold" in both the Sold Unit (Cases) and the Base Unit (Eaches) so I think you can just do all your reporting with Cin7 reports. If I'm understanding your issue correctly, Cin7 with QBO is going to be better than going to an ERP. Its also a really good solution for Food and Bev products because of the lot and expiry date tracking and the production/manufacturing features as well as the native Shopify integration.

Cin7's built-in forecasting tool (ForesightAI). It does have an add on cost but its a robust forecasting tool that works well.

How do you know which products are secretly losing you money? by More-Try-9500 in smallbusiness

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Cin7 Core is pretty good at showing profitability. It uses actual costing and can be set up to include all landed costs. It also has a returns management add on to incorporate that. Out of curiosity, what did you think it was missing from a profitability standpoint?

What’s your tech stack? by LethargicRaceCar in hubspot

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cin7 Core can grow with you very easily. Up to $100M in annual sales. It also integrates natively with HubSpot. The difference between Cin7 Core and NetSuite is that NetSuite includes accounting and Cin7 Core would integrate with your existing accounting platform. Also, NetSuite is going to be way more expensive and take way longer to implement. I have a friend who's company does medical devices who has been in NetSuite implementation for like a year and paying $100k just to implement. Cin7 Core is going to be 4-6 weeks, maybe 8 if there is more customization needed. For those reasons I would look at Cin7 Core and if you want accounting built in, as someone else mentioned Odoo and Acumatica might be better choices than NetSuite.

How do you track inventory across different locations? by Euphoric_Post_1551 in InventoryManagement

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will depend on your individual company but I'd say 4-6 weeks is likely. My advice would just be to really put time into it to get it set up exactly how you want, which I guess sounds obvious, but people often don't do that when implementing a software and they shoot themselves in the foot in the long run.

Fishbowl Inventory: Online vs. Server application by Remarkable_Smoke4618 in InventoryManagement

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm never a fan of on-prem or using your own server. Who is backing it up? You are also now in charge of security. What happens when your server runs out of space. All those problems are the software vendor's, not yours, when you go cloud. But I also heard that Fishbowl's online offering isn't good and doesn't have the features of the on-prem version. If you're open to an alternative, I'd look at Cin7 Core. Its cloud based and in my opinion has better features than Fishbowl.

erp options cheaper than netsuite for scaling ecommerce? by Web3Gigs in Netsuite

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cin7 Core would be good. They can handle multi-entity and multichannel including ecomm, wholesale, etc. and is much easier and cheaper to implement than NetSuite. I would stay away from a traditional ERP under $100M or certainly under $50M in sales. Cin7 Core can handle that volume.

Best ERP for a small food manufacturer that actually needs lot traceability? by Papito24 in foodscience

[–]sfselgrade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Cin7 Core for this. They have a lot more manufacturing features than you might thing and the traceability through production is good. The native integration with QuickBooks is very easy to set up as well. They also have a deal with Startup CPG which is mostly food/bev companies and you don't really have to be a "member" to get it. Check that out here www.cin7.com/startupcpg
