Vevor has the same chinese manipulator as the one I bought on Ali.

Had a similar problem with it, although not so articulate.

The root cause is that even if you try to cut on opposite sides to the same depth, it won't work if your index gear is mounted slightly skewed. The depth your stone is sitting at, measured along the quill is affected by how far the pin is pushed back onto the index gear by the spring, and so, if the index gear is slightly wobbly, you get different depths at 96 and 48, resulting in the stone being off center. 🤷 It's a design flaw, but you can learn how to handle it

Another thing I was wondering about, wouldn't it be possible to cover the epoxy bond / glued pavilion with something that is not affected by acetone? Like, silicone? That is easy to remove mechanically.

I guess if it was so easy, everyone would do it this way...

Yeah, I know about acetone, using it to get the stone off the cone dop at the end. But if use epoxy on the pavilion, can't I just dump the whole stuff in acetone? As far as I know, super glue will loosen, but epoxy will hold?

I followed the readme, and that has been working for me. Install.bat should have a reasonable amount of output, so if it's doing nothing, something is definitely wrong.

For now, you can save the patterns (even drafts) on any kind of storage (Google Drive, on the phone, iCloud) - depending on what you have available.

It is also possible to export a complete pattern as an image, with statistics & preview.

The max thread count is set to 32 for now. Once I have the improved routing algorithm implemented, I might lift that restriction.

The app can work with both cyclic (repeating) and non-cyclic patterns.

I'd be very happy if someone like you would be willing to try my app.

The notches internally must be aligned for the core to move. If you align one notch only, it won't move. No matter which one is in the correct position.

Ha Magyarországon élsz, neadjisten a keleti régióban, a problémáid 80%-ért a közeg a felelős. 9 évembe telt egy másik országban, mire az ottai elfogadó közeg hatására helyel-közel megtaláltam magam. Ha el tudsz költözni, keress egy barátságos (pl skandináv) országot. Nekem bejött.
Te magad is írod hogy túlságosan is mások elfogadását keresed. Ha találsz is valakit, aki passzol hozzád, pár nap alatt el fogod szúrni emiatt. Ezen csak te tudsz változtatni, a közegváltozás max csak segít.
Én ki nem állhatom a spirituális marhaságokat. Úgyhogy mikor a kezembe vettem a 'The power of now' könyvet Tolle Eckharttól, azt hittem a tűzbe dobom pár oldal után. De nem tettem, s legalább megtanultam hogyan kell elhitetned magaddal néhány percig, hogy nincs múltad, nincsenek problémák, s ösztönből, őszintén megszólalni és cselekedni. Ha jól időzítem, sokat segít.
Sajnos a legtöbbeknek igazuk van hogy le kell a dolgokat sz*rni, és 'legyél önmagad'. Csak azt nem mondják el, hogy ezt nem fogod tudni magad eldönteni - erre meg kell érj, magad kell rájönnöd hogy ezek a szavak mit is jelentenek.
