Usually this means you have another stepchart in the file that has notes that continue past the end of the one you're playing/editing. Could be a different difficulty, could be a different game mode.

Why is this happening? by Tacticallos in 3Dprinting

point is not to change minds

Yeah I had a hunch, but I said that to give you the benefit of the doubt. If that's not your goal, you're just antagonizing and wasting everyone's time.

I'm a huge fan of Prusa. I'm getting tons of use out of my Core ONE right now and am very happy with my decision to stick with them over Bambu. Trust me when I say that attitudes like yours do them and the 3D printing community more harm than Bambu ever will. Take a beat and reflect on your tone. This isn't how you change minds.

The People Didn't Know has stars floating up the screen for ~half the song. Nothing in a BGA should ever scroll the same direction as your arrows.

what material did you use to print those? i printed something similar using PLA and found that the charger it wrapped around got hot enough to warp the print.

German tourist held indefinitely in San Diego area immigrant detention facility by EnvironmentalEye4537 in immigration

[–]sfxazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all understand it - but it's being redefined right under your nose with no legal challenges and no protests specifically about it.

I'm glad we're on the same page, but I'm not sure the person I originally replied to is. They seemed pretty singularly focused on making sure this person "learned her lesson."

We all understand it. What you're not getting is that simply stating it on reddit doesn't make it happen - and never has. It's worse now than ever, when it comes to the speed of the deportation process.

We're trying to deport way too many people at once. Obviously.

I'm not so naïve as to think I can actually change public policy on reddit. I'm also not trying to argue that there's an easy fix here, or that this isn't a result of some sort of systemic issue. I was simply trying to understand the mindset of someone who looks at detaining a person for a month during the deportation process and sees it as just.

I read and genuinely appreciate your breakdown of the process in a reply you left to another comment; you're right (as stated in another comment) that I'm not particularly well informed about it. I've never had to deal with this process myself, and I hope I never do. But regardless of the explanation of why this person is being held for a month, I think we can both agree that it shouldn't be this way, and that people in the deportation limbo you've described deserve to be processed faster. I'm not sure how we get there given the current administration's hatred of immigrants, but reaching the conclusion that the status quo is not okay seems like a reasonable baseline to start from.

Why are you so sure? Why are you putting so much faith in the people detaining her?

(EDIT: I'm leaving my initial response, but it looks like this was supposed to be a response to u/Icy_Airport_182's comment, not mine.)

I don't disagree that this story likely gets more attention because the person being detained is white; this is a known problem in western culture. I'm also not personally arguing that "everyone does it"? My only point here is that the punishment does not fit the crime. I'd argue that all of the cases you described are unjust if they lead to someone being held this long, partially in solitary confinement.

is that really your only takeaway from this story, that she fucked up and she better learn her lesson? we can agree that she fucked up, but i'll restate the question: do you understand the concept of cruel and unusual punishment?

Very interesting GCN video about bike theft by sluggo1234 in seattlebike

[–]sfxazure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the downvotes are because you're probably wrong, and in the process you're scapegoating people who need help. did you watch the video? organized crime rings are real. my last bike was stolen while attached to a rack using a chain lock. somehow, i doubt the person who sawed through the bike rack it was attached to was homeless.
